  1. The main thing for email I would say is make sure it's set to a percentage for size opposed to pixels, outlook doesn't seem to do what the pixel size says
  2. Hi, Is it possible to add more items into the 'Dependency' drop down when linking asset relationships in the configuration items? I have had a hunt in the simple lists but unable to locate? Thank you
  3. is there anyway we can add our child pages of our service domain as a drop down under the top level navigation at all?
  4. There is also this option guest.servicemanager.request.category.closure.enforceLastItem which may be more to do with the error you are getting if you have sub categories
  5. Hi @ssimpson if you don't have any categories to use I would recommend using this option servicemanager.request.closureCategory.default.required to turn it off
  6. The ID shouldn't ever change once created, it will mainly be the display name that gets changed to cover exactly these type of issues
  7. +1 also needs to allow manual addresses not just accounts within Hornbill to send these reports to
  8. I believe this was something weird to do with using percent opposed to pixels or visa versa. hopefully this helps, something about outlook doesn't recognise the px ???
  9. Is anyone able to provide some insight into this at all?
  10. Hi @Llyr Our MI process is quite complex as Hornbill don't quite offer what we used to use as a 'Major Incident' I have an auto task that switches the process incidents go through, within that process I have a task to provide the reference of the 'MI' or in our case a problem record as you can publish to portals with this entity, from that I use a get customer node to get the user id and then add them as a connection to the request id provided with a comment that details the reference the were connected from, using a connection to measure impact opposed to the requests helps when the phones are call after call as analysts can just find the MI and just add them as a connection opposed to logging a whole new request every time
  11. @Berto2002 I am setting my user as the customer as it is to report errors with requests to sytem admins, for yours to be the owner I would do a get user info using the parameter mentioned and then use the ID for tasks, Hope this helps
  12. Jus to follow up, I printed the variable anwyay and it does in fact work! how many of these 'hidden variables' exists? Would be nice to see a complete list of global variables as it might spark some more ideas
  13. Hi @James Ainsworth I was very happy to read this and get it implemented however I don't have this option in my auto tasks ?
  14. Hi, I seem to have an intermittent bug with the requests widget. I have one under a 'requests' service domain and one under an 'Orders' domain, I have set up the orders service to use the relevant domain and all other requests the 'Requests' domain, This does work well however I keep getting the following error intermittently
  15. Hi, I would like to capture the user id of the person who clicks a custom button, I have looked at the input parameters but nothing stands out to me, I would use the 'Owner' of a request but there may not be an owner in my case, is this possible?
  16. Hi @AlexOnTheHill, In our process we add customers as a connection to a 'Main Incident' that way we can email all connections, hopefully this helps you
  17. Hi, I have a report which uses the buz_activities table to see actions completed by analysts, this doesn't seem to how anything done on the admin side of the system such as saves to capture forms or processes, user accounts etc? in addition to this is there anyway of viewing footprints if something is just viewed but no action taken? Thanks for any help
  18. is there a CSV template lying around anywhere for the call import?
  19. The setting you have used the 'mail' icon is all I have used, I wonder if there are dependencies though, do you have a default mailbox set for that service? something along those lines
  20. is the update you are testing visibility set to customer?
  21. I'm not sure if Hornbill provide a power automate add on but another route would be maybe capture all the information in Hornbill and use something like power automate to populate your forms in O365 or whatever is behind those forms that the information is used for? I have a feeling it would be a premium feature if so though but could be worth looking into if it exists
  22. I don't think that we can change the finish button, but just an idea maybe email them the link instead once they click finish
  23. Morning, Just doing some spring cleaning and our account that imports assets from SCCM seems to have been given every role from when we first set up. Can I have some clarification on what roles are actually required so I can remove the rest that are not required Thank you
  24. I have managed to achieve what I wanted, just for reference below for joining the tables and then I am filtering based on the task title I am after
