  1. We are in the process of implementing the Employee portal with the de-support of the Service Portal, but noticed an issue with the 'Requests' widget. It is resizing to take on the height of the other widget in the row, but is not filling the space with the request vertically and still showing a second page even though more then 6 requests can be shown in the widget space. Does not appear to be any control for this, as the only configuration option appears to be the 'Style' tab. Is this something we can configure or is this a defect? Cheers Martyn
  2. At the moment there is a Document Widget for the Employee Portal, but when you have a large volume of shared documents it display can become very crowded and not easy to use. Can we request an Document Libraries Widget which shows you the libraries you are shared with and the you can navigate tin a structured manner. Cheers Martyn

  4. I am trying to work out whether it is possible in either Analytics Measures or Widgets to get a count of distinct external organisations which have logged request in the last 12 month. I can get a count of requests logged in the last 12 month withe the following:- h_org_id<>0 and h_datelogged>(DATE_SUB(now(), INTERVAL 12 MONTH)) h_org_id<>0 and h_datelogged>(DATE_SUB(now(), INTERVAL 12 MONTH)) But as I am not able to write the SQL and insert the distinct(h_org_id) or group by on a count, I struggling to work out how to get this to be displayed as either a mea
  5. @AlexTumber Linked to our other post about the performance of retrieving timesheet entries, can the sidebar widget indicate that it is still retrieving the data, rather than displaying 'No entries to display...' Also sometimes it appears to timeout and not ever retrieve the information in the widget. Let me know if you think this is instance specific and I will log a request with support. Cheers Martyn
  6. Hi All, I have added "links" Page Widget to the main Company Page. I have linked documents, stored in a Hornbill Library. When I click on the link "404 Page not Found" pops up. When I right-click on it and choose open in a tab it actually downloads the document. Tested in Google Chrome and IE. Is it something I am doing wrong? Thanks Daniel

Hi, I was looking to pull together a dashboard, using several widgets, however when creating a widget with a data chart/measured sample combination, the output just shows Week numbers, rather than actual w/c dates (see attached image). Is there some configuration that needs making in order to change this, or is this set in stone? Please advise. Many thanks, Neil

Related back to earlier post (link at the bottom) and my colleagues, @Martin.bowman, post about having the ability to sort/filter notifications, would it be possible to have a 'Notifications' widget created for the Home/Hornbill Today page which you could insert to show your notifications and then add the functionality to the Widget to Sort/Filter the notifications. This way you are not having to alter the currently functionality of the top bar notification icon. Cheers Martyn

I am trying to calculate a metric to show the average percentage of incidents associated with changes by dividing 'the number of incidents linked to changes' by 'the total number of changes' and multiplying the result by 100. I would like to show this in a widget and using a count list I am able to calculate the following.   10. Good afternoon We have an issue with a widget on a report that is not adding the call details of a call that they have worked on (and added time) where they are not the owner of that call. The technician can see the time that they have added to the call is shown in their 'My timesheets' and the call itself shows their time too but the call details are not displayed in the widget.   13. Hi all, A quick question regarding the ability to change the text colour in a Widget based on the aggregate value. I have just tried setting this and was surprised to see that the only thing that changes colour was the title of the individual counter list item and not the value itself. Is this intentional or is this a bug?
  14. Hi First post of our new Hornbill era. So still learning! Trying to generate a graph for teams to show SLA's within fix, SLA's breached and ongoing tasks that are within the SLA but not yet resolved. I'm using the h_withinfix=0 and h_withinfix=1 parameters - however I cannot find a suitable 3rd measure which shows the number of "active jobs" that are still within the parameters of the SLA. Samples I've seen show the h_withinfix='' filter but this seems to duplicate the filter for h_withinfix=0. Any ideas?

I have written a widget to show me calls resolved for the previous month (nov) for a specific team with columns for Priority, Month Avg Response time, Avg Resolve Time , Avg Hold time and ticket count.   16. Hi all, I am trying to create a couple of widgets without much success. I need to know how many tickets we resolved last month per team and how many have been resolved so far this month per team. I have the following statement: (h_requesttype = 'Service Request' OR h_requesttype = 'Incident') AND (h_dateresolved >= LAST_DAY(NOW() - INTERVAL 1 MONTH) + INTERVAL 1 DAY) AND (h_resolvedby_teamname = ' IT Service Desk) But although it shows resolved tickets this month overall (if I remove the (h_resolvedby_teamname = ' IT Service Desk)) I cant get it to show per team.
  17. Hi, I have a very strange rendering on my widget charts when I use the "stack" option but not the % one: As you can see the proportions are all messed up. If I use the % option, it looks much better (but this is not what I want!) Anyone else has the same issue?
  18. Hi, Is there an easy way around the problem with a data list where it doesn't keep the data under the correct heading if there isn't data for that heading?   20. Hi, I am trying to display on a graph the number of requests logged per service and keep only the top 5 over the last 3 month (to show the evolution). But I cannot get to sort the data...   21. Good morning, I am trying to Create some Measures for our dashboard to report percentage of calls closed inside and outside SLA agreements. I have got a weekly one for inside and a monthly one for inside Service Requests and incidents working, However I cannot get the monthly outside one to work? The outside Weekly one picks up information however he outside monthly one is not picking up anything. Logically speaking if the weekly one is working all I need to do is change the Frequency to monthly and adjusting the sample history? But this doesn't seem to be working?

At the moment it is not possible to rename a column name when using a 'List of Data' Widget in Advanced Analytics, so when the Widget displays the physical database column name, i.e. h_datelogged, h_pk_reference etc. It would be really useful to be able to use the 'as <name>' format then entering the columns to allow the column output to be renamed or for the Widget output to use the field label/translation text.   24. When using Charts in the dashboard the data label text size is too small to read when displayed on a large screen. Resizing the graph and putting each graph on it own dashboard in the slideshow still does not increase the size of the data labels, just the width of the chart elements. Can a change be raised to allow control of the text size of the data labels for the Chart widgets, so that we can increase the size of the text to make it readable on a large screen from surrounding desks. Just in case anyone else is trying to create a widget to display on a dashboard showing the current availability of a number of analyst you use a Data List Widget and configure it to query h_sys_accounts as below. In the example below I have just included the users I was interested in filter where clause. The availability status is a numeric field which is 0=Available, 1=Lunch, 2=Training, 3=Holiday, 4=Meeting, 5=Out of the Office, 6=DND. Cheers Martyn
