  1. Thanks @Victor. Does this apply to all "activities", including the ones created manually by users?
  2. Hi, is is possible to remove the "edit" button on a human task?
  3. Hi, Following issues with the ldap user import utility, I had a look a the source code to try and determine the source of the problem. It turns out it is proxy related. So my question is the following: once you get the list of profiles from the AD, you have a loop that checks if the user already exists and the update or create. Instead of opening a connection, updating / creating a user profile and closing the connection every time you call a web method on the API, would it be possible to open a single connection and close it upon completion or error? The reason I am asking is because the current method generates a lot of login / logout for, from my perspective, no real reasons. What do you think? Thanks, Lyonel
  4. Thanks @Ehsan for the acknowledgment! Keep us posted please?
  5. Hi, when setting up services, we can select a category ("Request Category Level") which is great (as we can now filter easily on the service portal ). Go forward, when setting up catalogue items, you can order then easily by drag & drop. This is also great for sorting them in a very specific way, giving us the ultimate flexibility. But such feature does not exist for services... Would it be possible to have a simple "Order [int]" field for services? That would allow us to order them the way we want rather than only rely on alphabetical order?
  6. +1! I would also be very much interested in such thing!
  7. Thanks @bob_dickinson for looking into this. Looking forward to the next release then
  8. Same here. Also have the problem and used the workaround for the time being, but it is not ideal.
  9. Hi, Rather than a long explanation of my problem, I have uploaded 2 videos. Basically, the validation on the attachments form in the progressive capture does not work properly. I can easily by-pass it. Could you please have a look? IE: Issue with mandatory attachments - ie10.wmv Google Chrome:Issue with mandatory attachments - chrome.wmv Progressive Capture: Thanks
  10. Hi, I had a chat with @bob_dickinson recently regarding the upcoming new SLA feature. We are trying to setup SLAs for 114+ services which should lead to thousands of entries in the system (due to our organisation model + geographical spread). So Bob is helping us with a template to load this information faster in our system. When we went through some of the details regarding escalation, he said that we can only setup escalations based on the number of minutes before the SLA breach. That's fine, but it would be a good idea to work also with percentage. Indeed, most other helpdesk systems out there use %. It would make Hornbill more flexible to existing and new customers, allowing to work both ways: using minutes or %. Is this something you could integrate for a future release? Thanks, Lyonel
  11. Hi, is there a versioning mechanism for BPMs and PCs?
  12. Hi @James Ainsworth, Thanks for the answer. Is there a way you could enforce this limit on the textbox directly? It would prevent users (like me) from getting confused.
  13. Since the update I did yesterday, I have not managed to recreate the issue. So all good for me now
  14. @bob_dickinson, could you please have a quick look on our instance? Thanks
  15. Hi, I am having issues with the urgencyList maintenance... I am try to setup translated values but the system is behaving strangely. To order the values in the progressive capture, I am trying to prefix with a number. But the system won't let me do it for "High" and "Medium"?! See video attached: simple-list-issue.wmv Surprisingly it is working fine for the impactList:
  16. Just happened again. Attached is the PC exported: edi-monitoring---trading-partner-outage.pcf.txt Is it the same thing?
  17. Hi, Just a random question I got from users: is it possible to set by default the tab "Active" when logging onto the service portal?
  18. Hi @James Ainsworth, I would also be very interested by such change! We currently have 112 services setup on our instance. And this number will only grow in the coming months... Also, we are still in the implementation phase of Hornbill. So such view would be a very strong selling point to our internal customers, making the adoption of the service portal greater!
  19. Hi, sorry @Martyn Houghton, @NeilWJ, @Daniel Dekel to join this thread, but I had the same problem yesterday: But for some reason it is working today! I did not change anything, just left for the day last night and when I opened my progressive capture this morning, validation went through without any warning message.
  20. Following a discussion with @bob_dickinson, this is simply because we have to use a wildcard at the end of the word. Using the same principle, I tried to use a wildcard at the beginning of my keyword, but get no matches which is surprising! Am I doing something wrong? Or is it a limitation of the system?
  21. Thanks for the detailed answer. If it helps, a simple tooltip would do the trick!
  22. Thanks for the feedback. Just out of interest, does it also mean that we could map the fields "h_urgency" and "h_impact" from a custom form (like we can do for "h_summary" and "h_description"? Because that would make it really good and user friendly for admins and users (on top of the standard forms which would already be a great improvement)!
  23. Hi, I have an error message I don't understand and cannot debug. Can anyone help? Thanks
