  1. Hi, Just noticed something odd on the service portal. I have a catalog item with a long title (meaningful for users). See below the configuration (image config-1.png): But when I go on the portal itself, I cannot see the full title! If the description is too long to be displayed in the tile, a "Show More" button appears. If I click on it, I can then see the title: Otherwise, you jump straight into the progressive capture. From my experience, there is a problem here. Either the size of the field "title" for the catalog item should be restricted so that it can rendered properly on the portal, or the portal needs to accommodate the size of the title. Can you please have a look? Thanks
  2. Hi, On our service portal, when we use the search bar we get some strange results. For example, when I type "trans" I would expect at least 1 of our services to appear "Transport costing". If I type "transport" i can see the service. But again, if I type "cost", I do not see the service. It seems that the search is working based on full word. Is that by design? Or is it a bug? Thanks
  3. Hi all, Sorry to jump in but I am also very interested by both features mentioned here: capture properly impact and urgency in a progressive capture; then priority matrix. Any idea when the first leg will be available?
  4. Hi, To interface Hornbill with some of our in house systems, I need to setup something up. I was hoping to add a new web method to one of our web service. It is coded in ASP VB.NET and uses the framework v3.5. Going through your sample code (on Github), I managed to get a working query. However, your espapi_dotnet dll is coded for .NET v4 Any chance you would have a version for .NET v3.5? Thanks
  5. Hi, In the list of progressive captures and BPMs, when I try to sort by dates, the sorting does not seem to work properly. Also, when I use the search textbox, it looks like it is returning duplicates. Could you please have a look? Thanks
  6. Hi, Would it possible to have a control for radio buttons? So far we have only drop down list or checkbox list. It would be better when the available answers are only "Yes" or "No". Thanks, Lyonel
  7. Hi, I am in the process of implementing our service catalogue and setup my BPMs. However I am facing a massive of work and maintenance. Let me give you a bit of context: As of today we have: 114 services 461 catalogue items 20 teams We managed to rationalise our BPMs to only 8 Requirements: Any support team member must be able to see all the requests logged in the system (100% transparency) Auto assign request to a team based on catalogue item Setup: no services have a “Supporting team(s)” setup (see requirements above) Each service can be supported by multiple teams Each catalogue item is supported by a single team Problem: In the BPMs, it would require at least 20 “conditions” with very long list for each criteria (461 to be precise) Everytime a catalogue item is changed or added, all BPMs will need to be updated accordingly. Proposed solution (see attached document Hornbill - Default team assignment.pptx): Add a new field “Default assignment team” to the catalogue item This new field would be optional It would be populated by the list a teams (as declared under the Organisation) If "Supporting teams" are setup, available values would be restricted to the "Supporting teams" setup By default, the system would assign the request to that team (if value specified) BPM can still override the team assignment This would not impact the current functionality of the field "Supporting teams" Benefits: Straight forward assignment with no impact on securities or "support teams" Can accommodate special cases (by overriding in the BPM) Less maintenance of the BPMs (every time a new catalogue item is changed or created) Is this something possible to do? I am more than happy to discuss it in more details if necessary. Thanks for your consideration.
