  1. Ok @TrevorKillick I will try to get you a screenshot.
  2. Hi all, I have setup a rule to automatically update requests when an e-mail is received. It seems to be working fine but sometimes it does not and I don't understand why... Here is the rule setup: The email address in the rule expression is the correct one. But for example, the following e-mail was not processed properly: For information, at the time the email was received, the request was still opened. Also, when I run the regexp it works perfectly as the request number gets properly extracted from the subject. I also did some test using my personal gmail address. I receive the e-mail from Hornbill. But when I reply, the email arrives in the mailbox but the rule fails. Am I missing something here? Has anybody experienced something similar? Note: I have seen Gerry's post about latin character sets and this answers some of the cases where the auto update does not work. But not the rest
  3. Hi guys, anybody came across an error message after displaying a slideshow for a while on a screen? We have a big TV in our office where we display a slideshow. It is configured to change slide every 5 minutes and refresh the data on widgets every 5 minutes. But after a certain period of time, we get error messages saying it cannot connect to the server, like if it timed out?
  4. Thanks @TrevorKillick! This will be really cool in the dashboards. Also very handy with the service catalogue
  5. Hi @James Ainsworth, it turns out it was a setting on our relay settings. After adding hornbill IP address, things worked out. Did not have time to update this thread last week, sorry. But our problem is resolved
  6. Hi, On our instance we don't seem to be able to send e-mails outside our organisation when using the email functionalities in service manager... Anybody faced a similar issue in the past?
  7. Hi guys, Just ran the cleanup tool on my instance. Works like a charm. I also followed the instructions regarding activities. Worked well too However, I have a widget looking into the feedback answers and I think you need to add something in the wiki about this table too.
  8. @TrevorKillick Did you update the icons without telling anyone? It looks like we now have a much more comprehensive list of icons
  9. Hi @Martyn Houghton, if I am correct this setting allows the system to create the new request and trigger the BPM asynchronously. Which means that you get a confirmation pop-up that your request has been created sooner as you do not need to wait until the BPM is started. In my case, this is very useful as our BPM has a very complex start before it hits a "suspend" task. It was causing issues on our instance and although new requests were actually created immediately, it was taking up to 15s to get the confirmation pop-up. Now we only have to wait 2-3s! There is one downside to this though: depending on your setting / implementation, the confirmation pop-up could potentially be misleading. In our case, we auto-assign the team in the BPM (which is partly why it is so big!). As the new request is created at the same time as the BPM starts, generally the pop-up indicates that the call has not been assigned to a team yet. Also, when you click on the "View" button, the request appears as if the BPM did not start. But if you refresh then it all works and comes back to normal. Sorry if my explanations are a bit fuzzy Bottom line, this experimental feature allows you to raise a new request independently of the BPM being triggered. Very useful to gain performances, but it has some drawbacks you need to be aware of.
  10. Hi, what happens to the data in the database once the maximum sample is reached? Is the data deleted from the database?
  11. @Gerry Thank you for your honest and developed answer! Really appreciate your time and insights on this topic I would actually like to know more too about " This was an interesting project that gave us some great capabilities both in terms of stateless database I/O and real-time SQL activity monitoring and tracing. This is a whole other topic and can be the subject of another TechTalk blog post in the future - if this is of interest please leave a comment below and let me know. ". What about reporting features on MariaDB? I know a lot about MS products, not so much about the rest I must admit. PS: I tried to login to your website but I keep getting wrong password and then when I try to reset, I can another error message
  12. Hi, Is it possible to force the labels on axis to be displayed horizontally? If "auto" is supposed to be horizontal display, then something does not quite work. Thanks
  13. Hi, I am struggling to provide simple read rights to my analysts on mailboxes... Here is what I have so far: They get the following error message: Can anybody help? Thanks
  14. Totally agree with that! I would also love to be able to design my own query in pure SQL (alike the data > direct db screen). That would make reporting much easier for me
  15. Thanks @TrevorKillick for looking into this! You are a star!
  16. Thanks @James Ainsworth for the quick feedback Love your response time guys, really great customer service!
  17. Hi @Gerry, thanks for taking the time to come back to me! Really appreciate it. Looking forward to reading your blog posts then
  18. @TrevorKillick thanks for the reply. We would be very happy with simply removing any previously department set and any other organisation data for that matter, except teams. What would be my options?
  19. Hi @TrevorKillick, Based on your experience of the LDAP import utility, is it possible to change it so that when a user changes department, the utility updates the profile accordingly? At the moment, it only adds the new department. This forces us to run a report on a regular basis to clean these profiles. With 4000+ users, you can imagine the amount of time I am going to spend on this Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks
  20. @Gerry, thanks for that! I actually did not see your post but found the source on Github. That made me sooooo happy I know using .NET 3.5 is not a good option going forward, but with a huge (!) legacy of homemade applications to support, the migration will take a long time. Until then, I am stuck with this. I got the source and compiled it without any problems on 3.5 and it works perfectly Thank you very much for asking your guys to do that, it is very nice of you. I did not pay too much attention at the quality of the code, but what I saw was actually very good looking
