  1. Linked to our earlier posts we would like to request additional 'Data Query' options for use in both current Progressive Capture forms and hopefully in BPM Human Task fields. Organisations (already requested by @Paul Alexander) Service Name (Service ID Raw) - filtered by subscriptions of current user/contact context. Service Calalog Name (Catalog ID Raw) - filtered by subscriptions of current user/contact context. Service Calalog Name (Catalog ID Raw) - filtered by suppling a Service ID. We are trying to implement with the BPM the process to update the service and catalog of an existing request, but the current limitations of using a hard code list or simple list in the real work Service Catalog is not practical to implement. Being able to used dynamic 'Data Query' sources would allow the BPM to be configured to present a list based on the context. Cheers Martyn
  2. We would like to request any enhancement to BPM Human Task node to be able to use "Data Query" type sources for fields as well as the simple lists, as already present in the Progressive Capture, so the same sources can be used in both at when logging the request and during its lifecycle. Cheers Martyn
  3. Good morning, I would like to request for a Human Task to be highlighted (configurable?) if the task is assigned to the person viewing the request. Becomes (for example)
  4. Related to my earlier post below, can we also request an enhancement to allow the optional inclusion of as link to the activity itself in the timeline entry. We are creating a number of processes where a human activity is assigned to a 'Full User' to a request they are a connection on so that they can see the request timeline in the Employee Portal. We would like the option to include in the timeline entry the link to the activity itself so they can click on this directly in the Employee Portal to complete it. Cheers Martyn
  5. With auto tasks, can it be possible to allow us to create a task on demand? If this is not possible, then can we have more flexibility with the tasks in requests to be able to make them more like Human Tasks as the functionality of the 'standard' tasks with requests is quite limited.
  6. We have a task that uses a dynamic simple list as we don't want to input it everytime we use it, with the options of Yes, No, N/A but to display these in that order we have to ade 1,2,3 to the Item value to allow sensible ordering. However when the task is completed the outcomes show the Item Value rather than the display value (see below), is there way to change these to be the display values? As it makes reading the outcomes of the task a lot easier than remembering 1=Yes etc. Task outcomes: Simple list:
  7. We have a number of processes which use integration, which we ask the user to complete 'Capture Outcome Fields' in a Human Task, before the integration node. We would like to request an enhancement for an option to prefill a field by injecting initial information using text and variables. This way the analyst can adjust/append information to the content which will then be sent to the following integration component. Cheers Martyn
  8. Related to my earlier post about snippets on Human Task reason field, can there also be an option to enable this on any additional fields of the type 'Multi line text' as well, as we make use of a number of additional fields of this type, especially for integration, which this would be very useful. Cheers Martyn
  9. Related to the post below about having access to 'Snippets' in the request view 'Update' action, can I also request that they are also made available in the 'Reason' field when completing Human Task/Activity as well. Cheers Martyn
  10. Can I raise a enhancement to be able to configure within the 'Human Task' node the visibility of the timeline entry made and also even if a timeline entry is created at all. This could go under the current Task Options section. Given that all Human Tasks will be listed under activities (active or completed) on the right hand panel, there are occasions when there is no need to insert a nominal timeline entry just to reflect the completed activity details, as often this will go on to undertake other operations in your BPM and in essence creates a duplicate post on the timeline which means it is not very clean and become bloated. Cheers Martyn
  11. Can I raise an enhancement request to have the ability to add conditions to the Human Task outcomes themselves, so that there is an option to only provide the Analyst with the option to choose an outcome if a set of conditions is met. This way we can use a more generic Human Task in the workflow, but apply come validation to the outcome when the task is being attempted to be completed. i.e. the option to update a JIRA ticket with a comment is greyed out if the custom field containing the JIRA reference is blank. The aim would be that the conditions are check when then the task is opened to be completed, not when the task is created. Cheers Martyn
  12. As with additional 'Outcome Fields' on Human Tasks, add the ability to enter a 'Placeholder' description for the generic 'Reason' field, so guidance can be provided to the person assigned the activity. This saves having to disable the Reason field and add additional 'Outcome Fields' just to get a supporting description. Cheers Martyn
  13. Can the Human Task Node within Service Manager be extended to include the 'Action Focus' option that is presented currently with the 'Suspend' nodes? This way we can still guide the Analyst, whilst still using a Human Task to capture more information. Cheers Martyn
  14. Hi, Can someone look into this please and see if I have unearthed a bug... We have a 'Human Task' in our Incident BPM called "Investigation and Resolve". When looking at the timeline in the Incident, the outcome answers are being logged twice in the timeline update. Here is the config behind the outcome called 'Completed' Example of timeline entry When I clicked on the blue 'Investigation and Resolve' link in the timeline entry, this is what I got. Any ideas please folks...??? This is happening every time this outcome is chosen in the "Investigation and Resolve" task/activity. Thanks Steve.
  15. When you create manual task there is the option to schedule the task to run every day/week/month etc with options (as below), however when creating a human task in the BPM these options are not allowed. Is there a way to perform these or will this be feature request?
  16. If you add 9 or more Outcomes to a Human Task, the workflow will fail with an error creating the task. For example below. In our case we are wanting to use 10 outcomes and subsequent additional outcome fields specific to option chosen, so therefore no able to use outcome field drop down list. Cheers Martyn
  17. For a number of our processes we are now using the ability to inject the Task details, i.e. the Completion Details, temporarily into a custom field, so that we can embed the details in the email being sent out by the BPM automatically. This works fine, but there does not appear to be the option at the moment in a 'Human Task' to make the Reason (aka Completion Details) mandatory where required, which is what we would want to do in for these processes. Is there any plans to have the ability to apply options such as mandatory and Regex Validation etc? Cheers Martyn
  18. At the moment it seems you can only control the visibility of the reason entered when completing a Human Task using the system wide setting ' guest.ui.app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.operation.defaultVisibility'. Different services using the platform have different requirements on this, i.e. some want it to be shown others want to continue to be restricted. Can the option to set this on the BPM Node itself be added to the system, so the workflow itself set the visibility. Also if there was the ability to set the visibility default in the BPM Node but enable or disable the visibility selector to be displayed so the end user can override the default. Cheers Martyn
  19. At the moment it is not possible to make use of the response/reason text entered into the system when completing a a human task, as it is not accessible as a variable in the email templates. It would be really useful to have an option on each outcome from a human task to generate an email notification using a template and pass the response/reason text into the template as a variable. For example you would be able to generate an automated email to advise that your request has been put on hold with the following update. Where as at the moment you have to do a manual email from the request then complete your activity as well. Cheers Martyn
  20. When creating a Human Task in the BPM, you have to specify both an Owner and Assign To user. As I understand it the Owner connection is to allow the task to modified (i.e. reallocated etc via a Board) by a user other than the task has been assigned to. If this is the case and you have to be an 'Owner' of a task in order to re-assign it, then it would be a good idea if this option had the facility to assign to a group or role, as well as a specific user. Cheers Martyn
  21. Hi, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the best method to achieve this. During some of our BP's I want to create additional tasks that are assigned to different teams to action. I have started a parallel process and can create a human task\activity. What I would like to happen is multiple tasks are created and are assigned to different teams. However the human task seems to create an activity assigned to a particular user. I would like a task to be visible in each teams assigned calls so that anyone can pick it up and complete. I hope that makes sense and hopefully it is easy to achieve. I'm very new to hornbill so trying to understand the in's and out's of creating the BP's thanks lee
  22. Related to @Ralf Peters post below,it would be could to have the visibility option displayed in the completion window for a Human Activity, with the ability to either hard code this from the BPM Node itself or set a default value allowing it to be set on completion of the task. Cheers Martyn
  23. Hi, is is possible to remove the "edit" button on a human task?
