  1. I am trying to work out whether it is possible in either Analytics Measures or Widgets to get a count of distinct external organisations which have logged request in the last 12 month. I can get a count of requests logged in the last 12 month withe the following:- h_org_id<>0 and h_datelogged>(DATE_SUB(now(), INTERVAL 12 MONTH)) h_org_id<>0 and h_datelogged>(DATE_SUB(now(), INTERVAL 12 MONTH)) But as I am not able to write the SQL and insert the distinct(h_org_id) or group by on a count, I struggling to work out how to get this to be displayed as either a mea

In order to undertake more complex measures and to be able or retrospectively regenerate them, can we request an enhancement to be able to insert the 'Date Ranging Column' start and end date/time stamps in the 'Query where clause'. For example we want to set a measure that obtains the number of open requests at the end of a period, so we would do a count on requests where the Data Logged is before the end of the period and the date closed is null or after the end of the period. Whilst trying to diagnose some discrepancies between the number of rows returned via a measure and a report, I though I would try running a report on the saved columns held with the measure by using the 'Measure' source option in the report designer. However the output is not quite what I was expecting. The measure in question captures the data ranging column (example below is date_logged - h_datelogged) as the second column value, so entering the same period as the measure sample into the report, I get between 3 to 4 times as many rows returned with duplicate rows, but not necessarily ident
  4. At the moment you have a 'Title' field in the Measure which is both the actual name of the measure and also the display title of the said measure. When you have a large volume of measures like we do, we use a structured naming convention to organise them, however this means that when the measure is displayed it has the same name, which is not ideal. Therefore can the current field be duplicated, so there is a 'Measure Name' and 'Title', with the latter the display title that is used on display. Initial for existing measures, they would be set to the same value. Cheers Mar

At the moment you can only create measures on table objects and not entities (see link below to earlier post), therefore if you are wanting to use a custom field in your selection criteria you will need to do a sub query to include the appropriate request type specific tables which hold the custom fields for each type. The example below is for a measure we run to return the Response SLA performance based on the analyst who was the owner of the request when the request 'Response Timer' was completed, as this in our case will/may be different from the person who resolves it and completes th

Afternoon all, I am trying to get a measure to run to show me the percentage of tickets a user has let breach response and also the same for resolve, However no matter what i do if i add the user in i cannot get the measure to come back with anything. I already have one running for IN and SR each month for the department, The below shows response outside SLA for the month So i figured that i just had to change the frequency to year and add a bit in the query to say AND h_resolvedby_username = 'username' But this just keeps bringing back 0 as the results. Any idea?
  7. When setting up a report on a measure, the drop down list of 'Report Measures' is not sorted and there is no filter. This make is quite cumbersome when you have a large number of measures. Can the drop down list be sorted alphabetically as a minimum and if possible a filter option added?. Cheers Martyn

I am trying to have a measure which captures the difference between the number of request opened in a week to the number of requests closed, i.e. whether we are keep ahead of the incoming or slipping behind. I am in the process of setting up a number of measures which do no have a Date Ranging criteria as I am attempt to capture the current 'state' of requests in an analyst's queue, i.e. number of open requests, new requests, on-hold etc. At the moment in order to start these running you have to set them to re-sample, but as there is no date ranging condition you will get x number of samples of the same value. When there is no date ranging criteria, can the system detect this and just sample the one current value? Cheers Martyn
  10. I am looking to implement a number of measures for each of my staff as part of performance monitoring. The measures are basically identical except the value in the selection criteria to control which analyst they relate too. It would be really helpful to be able to 'copy' a measure, rather than having to create each of them a fresh each time. Cheers Martyn
  11. Good afternoon, I have a measures question. We are trying to create a measure for first time fix's, in our Progressive capture for Incidents and Service Requests we have a custom form at the end that is called First time fix: I have named the Field ID first_time_fix - and it is a simple static drop down select box, with the options "yes" or "no" I want to be able to create a measure for it to fid out how many first time fixs we have for service requests and incidents. I don't know what to fill in under the table and key columns, this is what I have put but its not pulling anythi
