Hi @Nikolaj, probably it was a caching issue. I mentioned the issue anyway, just to double check. Regards Armando
-
Hi @Nikolaj you search should return the asset. I will report this issue for fix. Regards Armando
-
Hi @Jeremy, I think this should be in the following app-setting: guest.app.requests.notification.emailPrefix Regards armando

Hi @Martyn Houghton that's in the asset type page, the + icon on the Software header. Regards Armando -
Hi @Adambingley, yes in order to be shown in the report "Requests caused by change", the name has to be "Caused By". As far the relationship types , here you can read more detailed informations: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Service_Manager_Relationships Thanks Armando
-
Hi @Adambingley can you double check if you have active relationships between requests please? If they are all disabled, then you will not have the option to update it Regards Armando
-
No worries @LawesD
-
Hi @LawesD if Request Type is left to 'Auto' then it automatically pick the same request type as the main request. So, if your main request is a PM, then the operation will only update PMs linked to your request. Can you please set Request Type= Ignore and try again? Regards Armando

Hi @Nikolaj the new build will come out early next week, I think on Monday. Regards Armando
-
Hi @Alisha at the moment the search is done on assets whose property names 'start by' the value you type. I will mention this issue to update the search criteria according to your requirement. Regards Armando

Hi @stevebissex has the progressive capture you switch to the form for Summary and Description ? When you switch to a different progressive capture, only the data in the new progressive capture will be saved. So, if your initial pro cap has Summary and Description and the new pro cap doesn't have them, then they will not be saved. You need to add Summary and Description in the pro cap you switch to; in this case the form in the 2nd pro cap will be pre-populated with the values you set in the 1st one. Here are more details on the switch feature: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Progressive_Capture_Designer Hope this answer your question. Regards Armando

Hi @Nikolaj the fix will be in the next build, which I think it will be later this week . Regards Armando

Hi @Paul Morrow there are 2 ways of bulk removing assets. Either you select all the relevant assets from the asset list and then delete them, or you may use the Hornbill Cleaner tool as discussed in this thread: Hope it helps Regards Armando

Hi @DC-BEN is that an asset of type Computer Peripheral ? We are aware of this issue and we will provide a fix with the next build. As far as we're aware, this issue is only on assets with class Computer Peripheral, so you may still upload other assets. Apologies for the inconvenience. Armando

Hi @carlt this is not the intended functionality. I will report this issue to be investigated and fixed. Regards Armando
-
Hi @Jeremy I think it could have been a caching issue. Please let us know if this occurs again so we can investigate deeper . Regards Armando
-
Hi @Jeremy are you still experiencing this issue? Can I ask if you have the latest build of Service Manager? If yes, can you please clear your browser cache and try again? Regards Armando
-
Hi @Paul Alexander this will require further investigation; as your organisation is subscribed to Hornbill's Premier Success plan, you can raise this with our Support team who will investigate this and provide you with regular updates. I'm sure you have these details already; you can raise a Support request through https://www.hornbill.com/support. Regards Armando

Hi @Paul Alexander we could replicate this issue and we are looking into it. As far as we can see, this issue is related to the logic we use when postprocessing the data loaded from the database; the value in the database is stored correctly but not displayed as it should. Can you please double check if the value of the product ID in the asset table is correct (h_itsm_assets.h_product_id) ? Regards Armando

Asset picker - getting 'Error in stored query'
ArmandoDM replied to Adrian Simpkins's topic in Service Manager
Hi @Adrian Simpkins it seems like the issue is caused by the query returning more results than the max number allowed. The max number of results allowed is defined in the following app setting api.xmlmc.queryExec.maxResultsAllowed . Can you raise the app setting to a value higher than the total number of assets and try again, please? Then confirm that this fixes the issue ? In the meantime, I will report this problem; the number of results returned by the query should be capped to the value specified in the app setting. Regard Armando -
Asset picker - getting 'Error in stored query'
ArmandoDM replied to Adrian Simpkins's topic in Service Manager
Hi @Adrian Simpkins are you trying to configure an asset in a progressive capture? Can you please post a screenshot of your configuration so we can try to replicate the issue? Regards Armando -
Thank you @Alberto M I raised a ticket internally in order to fix this issue and to prevent adding duplicates. Armando
