HI Michael There is no ability to import a report from an SQL query, you would need to build your own report in Administration -> Service Manager -> Reports -> Create You will need to use SQL Schema Designer Add the tables and configure your joins, In Select Filter you can pick User Prompted Value so at run time the user can put in the dates. Kind Regards Trevor Killick

Permissions/Role for Managing Portal Access
TrevorKillick replied to Martyn Houghton's topic in Collaboration
Hi Martyn Apologies for the late response. There is not currently a default role to handle this functionality. Having a quick look they will need the Contacts Admin Role (If creating / updating) : And System Rights A: Manage Portals , Update Portals (If they are going to be associating and contacts). There will be additional Table Rights i have missed here. Please let Me Known if you need any further assistance. Kind Regards Trevor Killick- 3 replies

Hi Ralf There is no setting to disable the noise however you can stop this from happening by dismissing the Harry Hornbill Notices which display in the top right next to the notification bell. These Harry Hornbill Notices are used to show you exciting new features and can be viewed and dismissed like normal notifications. Kind Regards Trevor Killick

Hi Tony If you click Edit against a library (Under the name and description) you can then assign users / roles / groups to the libraries and change the rights. I think you still need to assign edit rights to the individual documents though, Library rights and just for read and publish access to the library its self. Kind Regards Trevor Killick

It would be fairly easy to require n number of tags before a request could be logged or updated. If you started putting tags into categories then you just re introduced categories with a different UI. When i used to log calls in Supportworks as a day job everything was under Other->Other->Other if i couldn't quickly find the right category, tags wouldn't necessary stop this. One usability improvement might be to add searching the category selector so you do not have to go looking for the one you are after.

The tags we use in Document Manage require someone with rights to add the possible Tags to a list. This prevents users from adding "Laptop" and "Lap top". I think tags could work really well against requests and allow you to specify multiple tags instead of having to have very specific lists of categories which can easily become un manageable.

Hi Ralf The following thread outlines how to get the required information out from any associated tasks storing the time spent against a request. https://forums.hornbill.com/index.php?showtopic=8085 Kind Regards Trevor Killick

To wrap this up for anyone else that comes across this, mailbox input parameter on notifyEmailCustomer must be set to manual and set to a mailbox it should never be set to automatic. Kind Regards Trevor Killick
-
Hi Tony I looks like you have a missing value in the notifyEmailCustomer node in your BPM can you take a look at that node and make sure all of the input have a value set? Kind Regards Trevor Killick
-
Hi Tony Can you jump into the Admin Tool and go System -> Monitor -> Logs -> EspServer Log and check the Error Box and post back the last few errors it should help indicate exactly why the BPM Node for notifying a customer is failing. Kind Regards Trevor Killick

Hi Tony This is part of the Security Model where a user cannot elevate there own rights or another users rights above there own. This causes an issue when first installing an application, as a workaround the default rights for an application should be assigned to the Admin Role so any user with this role should be able to assign rights. Alternatively your Instance Administration Account (admin) is a Super User and can first assign this rights to the relevant user. Hope this makes sense. Kind Regards Trevor Killick
