No, nothing is being removed. They are simply not yet implemented.

I believe the underlying functionality is all in place and the final update will be due in the next (or possibly next-but-one) Service Manager Update.

OK - so you are not asking customers to test that functionality.

There is an issue with the mailbox where the list of emails disappear sometimes. From testing it seems to be whenever an email has bounced.

New view:

Old view includes the mail list:

For comparison, when I don't have an email that has bounced:

I just noticed a formatting issue when using the admin portal search in portrait view, the new view pushes the search bar off screen to the left and the results lower down the page are cut off. There is a scroll bar set to the centre of the screen but if I use it to scroll and move the mouse I am returned to the page prior to the search results. I have replicated this in chrome and edge so I don't believe it to be a cache issue.

With the introduction of CH00179909 for the wiki help, can be adjusted at all, so that once you've typed what you want in the resolution box, for example, you can easily get to the Category view beneath the box, without needing to do an extra click in the white space to get to the category options?

When using the add image from url option in resolution. This does not come across to email templates that use h.resolution. It only displays the text and not the actual image.

Here's what we see - as noted above - this will be confusing for an end users point of view and works against the benefit of having an image included in the resolution. As it stands I don't think we'd use this - which would be a shame given the potential for including images to help explain resolutions.

Hi,

I just noticed this today. We see this overflow of grey on our homepage in the new UI for the search widget. Has anyone seen similar?

image.png.79aab794924d92f05728a1e862bbf459.png

Under the old UI we get this...

Thanks,

Art

Looks like this one has gone away.

Colleague has been testing the New UI today, and came across this issue with Chat a short while ago.  They're not able to see any of the details that are pre-populated when a chat is raised and answered.  They are in dark mode too, not sure if that's the cause or not:

@Emily Patrick,We came across the same issue with a couple of colleagues, and it turned out they had a third party browser plugin for a dark mode/ theme. When turning that off it seemed to fix it, so might work for you. There is also dark themes in Hornbill so we turned the third party plugin off, and used the dark mode in Hornbill and it works fine.

The new UI for the Global Search did not change the number of clicks. When you search you need to click on the search button and then the text input gets focused automatically, so no aditional click is needed

@Daniel Dekel the global search has sometimes defaults to "Coworkers" so there ARE sometimes two clicks required to search for Requests (or ALT-X plus a click). Your statement about it defaulting to "Requests" seems correct for the this screen (https://live.hornbill.com/xxx/servicemanager/requests/) but when I click the search from say Board Manager (https://live.hornbill.com/xxx/boardmanager/board/5/) or Supplier Manager (https://live.hornbill.com/xxx/suppliermanager/suppliers/) or the portal view (https://live.hornbill.com/xxx/internal/catalog/hr/) the default is Coworkers. So looks like the default of Requests is only working for Service Manager... image.png.6a5e45f7835a2989cb4e0f1323cb08ea.png

That also didn't change. The way it works is... Several views that do have an option to search will switch the search context to it, for example requests list will switch to "Request Search". Workspace  will switch to "Workspace Search".

There are views that don't have search and in that case the search context will be left unchanged. So if the last view was "Requests List" the search context was "Requests Search" and if you switch to a board, the search will be left with the last one; "Request Search".

The default search that will come up if there is no search is "Co-Workers Search", that's why you get this. But again, this is the same as the old view.

Hope is more clear now.

Daniel.

Sorry, not really. If I go to Boards I open the search, it has Coworkers every time, regardless of whether I have searched form a Board or not.

So from any screen other than Request List it seems, I have two clicks to search for Requests now; this is exactly the point I made in my first post about the UI now having one additional click and slowing everyone down for the sake of looking pretty.

I request again you revert to a permanently visible (uncollapsed) search box which was working just fine.

Organisations, es, defaults to Organisations:

Boards no, defaults to Co-workers (Expect Requests):

Suppliers, no, defaults to Co-workers (expect Suppliers):

Assets, no, defaults to Coworkers (expect assets):

So something in our instance has a defect by the sounds of it?
