  1. I can see how this would be useful - I've tagged it as an Enhancement and will ensure the Developers get to see this post. (The usual caveats apply)
  2. No to both, for two reasons: The Request List View is for displaying fields from the h_itsm_requests table and the extended fields (h_custom_31 - h_custom_40) are TEXT fields which can hold virtually unlimited data and this would break the UI. This is also why h_description is not available in that view.
  3. Please run the Import once from the command prompt using the forcerun=true parameter as detailed in the Common Error Messages section of the wiki documentation.
  4. As far as I am aware, the order is not configurable. I've tagged this as an Enhancement for you and ensured Development are aware of the request.
  5. On/Off Hold is not a function that is available from the Actions cog - I believe this is for the same reasons that it does not appear on the Actions bar on the request.
  6. Any hidden columns will only be excluded from the visual PDF output, with the data being included in the CSV, XLS and XLSX outputs. This also applies to the Data Preview option.
  7. An outdated browser might cause this, it would certainly be worth testing on the latest version. The System Requirements section of the Getting Started wiki page does specify that we support the latest browser version, and Edge build 92.0.902.73 is almost 2 years out of date. From your screenshot I believe your User is using Safari, but the same would apply if it is not up to date.
  8. Hi @Alice Worsley Marked in red is the menu bar I am referring to: What can the User see if they open that?
  9. Those Roles look OK. Are you seeing any errors, either when logging in or in the logs themselves? What is the User seeing in the menu bar?
  10. Could we first clarify that these are Basic Users rather than Guest Users (Contacts) please? If Basic Users, what Roles do they have assigned, and what, if anything, appears on the top menu when it drops down on hover? I've removed the User information as this is a public forum.
  11. Assuming you're using the Asset Data Import Tool this has Update and Create options, it does not Delete any Assets, so multiple scripts will not remove existing assets. You can set the Asset's State etc. but it will not remove the record itself.
  12. The Project Risks wiki page states Is it simply that you do not have any Weights defined?
  13. It's hard to be certain from just that screenshot, but I suspect this is what you're looking for:
  14. @Sam P The update containing that change has not been released yet. The current Live version is 427, which was released on January 12.
  15. I agree, there is no User ID, but the email address will be unique to the User and will identify them.
  16. Tasks do not support Field Mapping, this is an Intelligent Capture feature. Tasks are part of Collaboration, and can be linked to any application (or even be standalone) so there is no sense in mapping to a Custom Field, as there is no guarantee they are attached to an Entity that has Custom Fields. You will need to map the answer within the Request's BPM to whatever Custom Field you wish to populate.
  17. There are more details, including email address, in the Connections panel once they are added.
  18. Yes, this would be correct, the most recent browsers have stronger security settings that prevent the "Paste from Word" action from working. I believe you can turn this setting off/down but that might annoy your Network Security Team.
  19. I've tagged this as an Enhancement and will ensure that Development see this suggestion.
  20. Is this not what you were asking for?
  21. A magnified Desktop will magnify everything, but should not change the proportions relative to each other. i.e. an image that is the same width as the word "Catamaran" when magnified will be bigger, but still the same width as the word which has also been magnified. A smaller monitor will actually make everything appear smaller - it's having a lower resolution (which is, of course, often the case with a smaller monitor) that would make things appear bigger, but again this should be in proportion. For this reason I suspect that @Jim's suggestion is correct. We know that Outlook does not respect the image sizes properly, and for this reason we recommend that images used in email templates are created at the desired size.
  22. There are a number of reasons for a notification not to be sent (including something not working) but this would be impossible to diagnose at a distance. Your comments regarding Task Completion visibility have been raised internally and are being looked into - this will involve a number of teams so I can't give any timeframes but I'll endeavour to post back here with the outcome of the discussion.
  23. This is correct - the setting is specifically for the description; the fact that it has been completed will still be posted and if the default visibility is set to Customer this will trigger any automatic notifications.
  24. A Human Task is not specific to Service Manager, they are part of the Platform and can be used in any application or created as standalone items, so having a Visibility option would not be relevant and could cause problems if trying to post to a non-existent Timeline. The guest.servicemanager.request.timeline.showActivityDescription setting determines whether the description of an Activity is posted into the Timeline on completion within Service Manager, and I would imagine that the reason your Customers are seeing the updates is because you have automatic notifications of Customer-facing updates turned on for that Service, and that your default visibility is set to Customer.
  25. Development have picked this up and are assessing the requirements. We will post an update here when we have more details. Additionally, keep an eye on the Service Manager roadmap board.
