  1. Hi Sorry for posting on an old thread. Are there any more Tasks related variables? I don't see these Task Variables in the list of variables so not sure what else there is. I am looking to include the first name of the person who the Auto Authorisation Task has been assigned and emailed to (after pulling from a list of users in a Team) into the TaskAuthoriserNotification Email Template if that's possible, so the email is clearly directed to each of the authorisers.
  2. we had an issue this morning with accessing the dashboards we didn't have explicit permissions to (despite being Admins that support Hornbill) - we had to get the owner of the dashboard to add us to give us the permissions so we could access.
  3. +1 for sure. I've had struggles due to there not being Data Query options in Human Task and have probably mentioned it quite a few times in different posts over the years. Think there was a reason it isn't possible yet, but cannot quite remember.
  4. Thanks @James Ainsworththat would be great for general users if something like that can be reintroduced. Very useful feature for sure, great stuff!
  5. Thanks @James Ainsworth. I don't remember seeing Harry Hornbill mentioning this within Hornbill - was this missed or omitted on purpose? I think highlighting this might be useful for users.
  6. I forgot to be a bit more specific about this bit: In its simplest form in the Intelligent Capture, one could choose a Calendar or WTC to be used in the Date Field, Date and Time field and Between Dates field types. In its complex form, the ability to display a clickable Calendar would be brilliant. I suspect this would require an enhancement to PCF2 (if that's what it's called). And for this bit, especially regarding bookings, if there was a dedicated Calendar Manager app, there could be additional functionality that would allow time slots to be included as well. A bit like how online booking systems for Barbers or Contractors works. Our use case for something like this would be for when we do drop-ins at the office, users can book any available time slots.
  7. Hi @Gerry and @Steve Giller, Yes, you are both right, it's not really a WTC thing at all - when I made my posts it didn't even click, and the clue is in the name. So, as you both have said it is more of producing a Calendar, where dates can be included/excluded etc. Any integration to any Bank/Public Holidays APIs would be great, if possible, configurable per calendar as other countries might have different days. i.e. https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.json for the UK Bank Holidays, but otherwise we could import using the Hornbill API and PowerShell as I do with the WTC. The simplest use cases would be, as in my example, for the CAB Calendar to be used within the Intelligent Capture. Also, I've just remembered there is an item on the roadmap related to "CAB Meeting Manager" could that incorporate a potential calendar solution? If this were to be developed into a fully featured app, ie. Calendar Manager: Allows multiple calendars to be configured (like Board Manager) In its simplest form would just be used to hold dates and works like how the current WTC solution works With the ability to include dates Can be used in the Intelligent Capture and Workflow In its complex form would be used for more advanced calendar features such as creating events into the Calendar Can be used in the Intelligent Capture and Workflow Integrates with Service Manager (ie. for Bookings, Services, Requests, Tasks) Integrates with Board Manager It has Calendar View(s) Advanced Allows integration to Office 365 and other Mailboxes Allows Auto Tasks to be trigger on certain events/scenarios (such as when an event is created, or deleted) I hope I haven't messed up anything with any extra requirements, but we would be happy if there was a simple implementation that works similar to how the WTC are configured currently. Thanks, Samuel
  8. Good evening, I would like to request the ability to add "Inclusion Dates" (for lack of better terminology) to the Working Time Calendars to allow specific dates to be included alongside the standard configuration. I have set up a CAB Calendar which is set for 10:00:00 to 11:59:59 every Monday, so users can select which CAB date they are submitting the Change Request for. But if the Working Day falls on a Bank Holiday (for example on a Monday), I would like to be able "include" an alternative date CAB date, i.e. the next working day which is a Tuesday which will be visible in the Calendar associated with the Date Field on the Intelligent Capture form. Thanks, Samuel
  9. Good morning, I am working on our Change Process and have a need to be able to update the Change Type via the Workflow, but there is no automation that allows me to do this. Please note I do not want to update the Change Category, it's the Change Type I need to update. According to the documentation, it's meant to be possible: https://docs.hornbill.com/servicemanager-config/customize/workflows/change-request-automation But there is nothing in the Change Requests Automation: Please can this be added back in
  10. It has always been possible to create new profiles, but it's never been possible to use any new ones besides the existing ones. I believe it has been raised in the past (possibly by myself as well) to allow being able to use a different profile against a service, and I think there was a reason this couldn't be done in the base Service Manager application (but I cannot remember what that reason was). +1 to this idea for Service Manager, but I suspect this might be only, unfortunately, be possible in Hornbill Enterprise which we don't have.
  11. Hi @Steve Giller, I have seen it only happens when I click on a link to another Hornbill page, such as Service Manager -> Request List but not when it comes to opening to a new link thats not part of Hornbill. Maybe I'm missing something but the two situations above, I have not been prompted for anything.
  12. Hi @Gerry, It just happened again but this time I mis-clicked a couple of keys on my keyboard which open a search based on a selection I made in a field (so I could copy and paste it into another field). It doesn't appear that Hornbill currently has any event handlers for capturing navigation requests away from the page. Please could I request an enhancement, so these event handlers are used during certain screens on Hornbill, for example when editing the Workflow or Intelligent capture. If the event handler detects that a page navigation action has occurred, to pause that from happening and display a prompt asking if the user wishes to save and navigate, to cancel the request or to just navigate without saving. The JavaScript event handler is onBeforeUnload if I recall correctly. Also, it's been more than 3 minutes, and the Workflow hadn't auto saved: But I have seen it auto-saving earlier but doesn't seem like it's doing at the intervals I set in the parameter. Thanks, Samuel
  13. Hi @Gerry, Apologies if I sounded shouty, it was frustrating but I'm back on track now, phew! I do have that option set already to 3 minutes and it's been that way for a while (I think I changed it when the auto save interval setting was introduced some time (years?) ago): The way I worked out it was about 15 minutes was because the time I flicked to the PHP documentation was about 15:47 and process publishing & activation screen showed 15:33. Could've been 14 minutes though. I've been saving manually though since I reported the issue so all up to date so far. Thanks, Samuel
  14. Good afternoon, I've lost 15 minutes' worth of configuration in a Workflow and now I cannot get it back. And yes, I do save regularly, but I was on a roll with this one so sometimes I don't save until I've hit the sweet spot and I'm satisfied with what I've just done. This is all because I put in a Date Formatter Cloud Automation, then went into the Node documentation, and clicked on the link to take me to the PHP Formatter documentation in the same tab I was working on instead of a new window. For the sake preventing this issue happening to anyone else, please can I request an enhancement for someone to update all Intelligent Capture/Workflow Node documentation, where there are links to other screens in Hornbill or to external links, to open in a New Tab/Window. It's not common sense to always CTRL/Shift + Click on a link all the time on every single link you see, especially when working on something like a Workflow, one would expect that there would be a prompt first asking if you wish to navigate away from the page you are currently working on when clicking any internal/external links on a page like this, or automatically open in a new tab/window without the prompt. Thanks, Samuel
  15. Description: I would like to propose an enhancement for the Simple Lists featured throughout Hornbill. The enhancement involves adding a feature that allows users to define a description for each Simple List, with ability to include Wiki Markup to enable formatting the description where required (i.e. to define a link to another page/document). Reason for the Enhancement Request The enhancement is proposed to provide extra information and guidance for each Simple List, which can be beneficial for users when utilizing these lists as the information/guidance they would need, is in front of them when maintaining the list. Example F12 Developer Tools Screenshots An example of what the Description field could look like in Edit mode: An example of what it would look like in view mode:
  16. Ahhh gotcha thanks @Steve Giller. I misread what this part of the doc was saying:
  17. When does the request insights button show up on the right-hand side within a request? Not seeing it anywhere yet... from what I can tell there is supposed to be an eye icon, but I can't see it
