  1. Hi @Gerry and @Steve Giller, Yes, you are both right, it's not really a WTC thing at all - when I made my posts it didn't even click, and the clue is in the name. So, as you both have said it is more of producing a Calendar, where dates can be included/excluded etc. Any integration to any Bank/Public Holidays APIs would be great, if possible, configurable per calendar as other countries might have different days. i.e. https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.json for the UK Bank Holidays, but otherwise we could import using the Hornbill API and PowerShell as I do with the WTC. The simplest use cases would be, as in my example, for the CAB Calendar to be used within the Intelligent Capture. Also, I've just remembered there is an item on the roadmap related to "CAB Meeting Manager" could that incorporate a potential calendar solution? If this were to be developed into a fully featured app, ie. Calendar Manager: Allows multiple calendars to be configured (like Board Manager) In its simplest form would just be used to hold dates and works like how the current WTC solution works With the ability to include dates Can be used in the Intelligent Capture and Workflow In its complex form would be used for more advanced calendar features such as creating events into the Calendar Can be used in the Intelligent Capture and Workflow Integrates with Service Manager (ie. for Bookings, Services, Requests, Tasks) Integrates with Board Manager It has Calendar View(s) Advanced Allows integration to Office 365 and other Mailboxes Allows Auto Tasks to be trigger on certain events/scenarios (such as when an event is created, or deleted) I hope I haven't messed up anything with any extra requirements, but we would be happy if there was a simple implementation that works similar to how the WTC are configured currently. Thanks, Samuel
  2. Good evening, I would like to request the ability to add "Inclusion Dates" (for lack of better terminology) to the Working Time Calendars to allow specific dates to be included alongside the standard configuration. I have set up a CAB Calendar which is set for 10:00:00 to 11:59:59 every Monday, so users can select which CAB date they are submitting the Change Request for. But if the Working Day falls on a Bank Holiday (for example on a Monday), I would like to be able "include" an alternative date CAB date, i.e. the next working day which is a Tuesday which will be visible in the Calendar associated with the Date Field on the Intelligent Capture form. Thanks, Samuel
  3. Good morning, I am working on our Change Process and have a need to be able to update the Change Type via the Workflow, but there is no automation that allows me to do this. Please note I do not want to update the Change Category, it's the Change Type I need to update. According to the documentation, it's meant to be possible: https://docs.hornbill.com/servicemanager-config/customize/workflows/change-request-automation But there is nothing in the Change Requests Automation: Please can this be added back in
  4. It has always been possible to create new profiles, but it's never been possible to use any new ones besides the existing ones. I believe it has been raised in the past (possibly by myself as well) to allow being able to use a different profile against a service, and I think there was a reason this couldn't be done in the base Service Manager application (but I cannot remember what that reason was). +1 to this idea for Service Manager, but I suspect this might be only, unfortunately, be possible in Hornbill Enterprise which we don't have.
  5. Hi @Steve Giller, I have seen it only happens when I click on a link to another Hornbill page, such as Service Manager -> Request List but not when it comes to opening to a new link thats not part of Hornbill. Maybe I'm missing something but the two situations above, I have not been prompted for anything.
  6. Hi @Gerry, It just happened again but this time I mis-clicked a couple of keys on my keyboard which open a search based on a selection I made in a field (so I could copy and paste it into another field). It doesn't appear that Hornbill currently has any event handlers for capturing navigation requests away from the page. Please could I request an enhancement, so these event handlers are used during certain screens on Hornbill, for example when editing the Workflow or Intelligent capture. If the event handler detects that a page navigation action has occurred, to pause that from happening and display a prompt asking if the user wishes to save and navigate, to cancel the request or to just navigate without saving. The JavaScript event handler is onBeforeUnload if I recall correctly. Also, it's been more than 3 minutes, and the Workflow hadn't auto saved: But I have seen it auto-saving earlier but doesn't seem like it's doing at the intervals I set in the parameter. Thanks, Samuel
  7. Hi @Gerry, Apologies if I sounded shouty, it was frustrating but I'm back on track now, phew! I do have that option set already to 3 minutes and it's been that way for a while (I think I changed it when the auto save interval setting was introduced some time (years?) ago): The way I worked out it was about 15 minutes was because the time I flicked to the PHP documentation was about 15:47 and process publishing & activation screen showed 15:33. Could've been 14 minutes though. I've been saving manually though since I reported the issue so all up to date so far. Thanks, Samuel
  8. Good afternoon, I've lost 15 minutes' worth of configuration in a Workflow and now I cannot get it back. And yes, I do save regularly, but I was on a roll with this one so sometimes I don't save until I've hit the sweet spot and I'm satisfied with what I've just done. This is all because I put in a Date Formatter Cloud Automation, then went into the Node documentation, and clicked on the link to take me to the PHP Formatter documentation in the same tab I was working on instead of a new window. For the sake preventing this issue happening to anyone else, please can I request an enhancement for someone to update all Intelligent Capture/Workflow Node documentation, where there are links to other screens in Hornbill or to external links, to open in a New Tab/Window. It's not common sense to always CTRL/Shift + Click on a link all the time on every single link you see, especially when working on something like a Workflow, one would expect that there would be a prompt first asking if you wish to navigate away from the page you are currently working on when clicking any internal/external links on a page like this, or automatically open in a new tab/window without the prompt. Thanks, Samuel
  9. Description: I would like to propose an enhancement for the Simple Lists featured throughout Hornbill. The enhancement involves adding a feature that allows users to define a description for each Simple List, with ability to include Wiki Markup to enable formatting the description where required (i.e. to define a link to another page/document). Reason for the Enhancement Request The enhancement is proposed to provide extra information and guidance for each Simple List, which can be beneficial for users when utilizing these lists as the information/guidance they would need, is in front of them when maintaining the list. Example F12 Developer Tools Screenshots An example of what the Description field could look like in Edit mode: An example of what it would look like in view mode:
  10. Ahhh gotcha thanks @Steve Giller. I misread what this part of the doc was saying:
  11. When does the request insights button show up on the right-hand side within a request? Not seeing it anywhere yet... from what I can tell there is supposed to be an eye icon, but I can't see it
  12. Good morning, I would like to request an enhancement to Supplier Manager to include a view that allows seeing a list of all Supplier Contacts (not Contracts). This is what we have so far: In addition, the ability to create a Contact in this view would also be great, where we can associate the Contact with a Supplier. This View should work similarly to the Request List and allows filtering, creating and saving a filter/view, the adding or removing of columns, sorting and displaying of custom fields and enable sharing with teams or users. Thanks, Samuel
  13. Good morning, I am assuming that this is a defect but we have an archived contact from over a year or so ago for one of our suppliers still showing in the main list of contacts (indicated by a black star icon). Please can this be looked into to either hide the archived contact or move the archived contact to the end of the list. If the former, then it might be worth having a toggle or popup of all archived contacts. Shame we cannot delete any contacts from here too (for example if created in error). Thanks, Samuel
  14. Just a bit of an update after looking around the Data Import Configuration screens some more, it turns out I can display debugging in the message, so I turned it on and behold the wonderous sight of debug messages. Turns out for those 90 accounts, there are no profile images: 2024/01/11 10:34:31 [DEBUG] Unable to Upload Profile Image to DAV as it's empty Please can the LDAP_Import be updated to allow ignoring empty images to be imported in, and thus not doing anything against that account to the images at all. At the moment images against an account with no AD Profile Image looks like this in Hornbill: But in the past, it used to show up the initials of the user, so in my case would be SW with a coloured background. @Steve G - Sorry for naming you directly; I saw you had input into this tool on other posts, but is this something that can be looked into? The ability to skip the upload of images if they are empty, as a setting. Of course, some organisations may want to flag this up as an error, but we don't need to.
  15. When we did our measures, I couldn't see any way to capture all the open tickets at points in time, so I had to just use the current open tickets from and advise the viewers that for a little while the count of open tickets will be the same for a while before you see any changes over the period. I am keen to know if this is currently possible, but I suspect it isn't at the moment.
  16. +1 for the additional types - would really help visually.
  17. Good afternoon, Description: I am requesting an enhancement to the User Profile screen on Hornbill. It would be good to see a “Direct Reports” section added to the right-hand side of the User Profile screen. This section would display all users who report directly to the person whose profile is being viewed. It would also show the manager of the person whose profile is being viewed, their manager, and so forth. Reason for the enhancement request: Currently, if someone is off or has left, and an answer or follow-up is needed for any open tickets, users must navigate to Microsoft Teams or Outlook, search for the user, and click “Organization” to view their position in the Organization Hierarchy. This process is time-consuming and inefficient. Justification: Adding a “Direct Reports” section to the User Profile screen would save users from having to navigate away from Hornbill to another system in order to see the information. This enhancement would streamline the process, making it easier and more efficient to find the necessary information without having to navigate away from Hornbill. As we use LDAP_Import and that the data in AD is updated from the system used by HR, this information is readily available and can be incorporated into Hornbill. This enhancement would therefore leverage existing data to improve the user experience. Thanks, Samuel
  18. Linking back to my post on this thread: I would like to request the ability to subscribe to a Roadmap Board in the Hornbill Solution Center. Copied from the above topic: Would be good if we could subscribe to the relevant roadmaps to send a daily email notification on any changes if there were any made within the last 24 hours (if any). This would allow us to keep up to date with the Hornbill development. I definitely don't just go and regularly check the road map due to being very busy, so would be nice to have some sort of notification... An example a similar solution is Trello, you can subscribe to be notified of changes made to a board/lane, and the notification can be instant for each change, or sent daily/weekly if I recall.
