  1. @NeilWJ Thanks, I was not obviously paying enough attention. That should do what I want to achieve. Cheers Martyn
  2. @NeilWJ Thanks, that does the trick. Just a note, when you use the 'custom sql query' option, the presentation of the columns does use the translation labels by default, rather than the column names which the 'single table query' does. Cheers Martyn
  3. @NeilWJ Are you able to set a target value and for it to change colour based on a target value? Cheers Martyn
  4. @NeilWJ The aim of using a measure with a shorter frequency, would be able to capture more detailed information regarding levels of requests at certain status or position during the day, but would be over a shorter retention period of time in order to keep the storage impact sensible. In essence we want to use coloured Target Indicators widget to give us as representation of the current position during the day, allowing us to spot problem area's/requests so that they can be dealt with within SLA. A significant proportion of our SLA's involve time periods less than a day. Using the real time counters only allows us to display a list of number not show a coloured status board on the dashboard screen. In essence having the measure frequency only down to a day, allows us to monitor how we have did. What we are trying to move to is 'how are we we doing' whilst still having time to potentially affect 'how we did'. Hope that makes sense. Cheers Martyn
  5. @James Ainsworth Thanks for the update. Will keep an eye out for this in the release notes. Cheers Martyn
  6. @chriscorcoran The recommendation would be to use the free Timesheet Manager app which you can install from Hornbill Administration interface. https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Timesheet_Manager There is some configuration involved and is a fairly new app on the platform, so there are a few us trying to implement at the moment. Cheers Martyn
  7. Related to my post below it would be useful to be able to set the frequency of measure in shorter duration that a day, i.e. hourly or every so many minutes. Cheers Martyn
  8. At the moment you have to use a 'Measure' as the source of the data for the Target Counter Widget in Advances Analytics. Though you can set the Widget to refresh as fast as every minute, the measure you have to use as the source can only be updated as frequently as each day. It would be useful to be able to use custom SQL query with the Target Counter Widget, so allowing you to use these more in real time. The example we wanted to use was for a 'System Health' dashboard which would pick up in near real time requests which are unassigned, requests at New status and not picked up within x minutes etc. Cheers Martyn
  9. Similar to my earlier post (link below) about, is is possible to do a direct SQL update to set the 'Feedback Expiry' value on multiple services? The default is null/not limited when the feature was introduced and want to set a common value across all 100 plus services. Cheers Martyn
  10. @alextumber, @James Ainsworth It would be really useful to have the option in the BPM Auto Assign Task to determine if 'On Hold' assigned incidents are taken into account when assessing the 'most available' analyst. Cheers Martyn
  11. @James Ainsworth Wondered if the has been any progress on the plans to enabled the indication against each team member whether they are to be included in the auto assignment criteria? Cheers Martyn
  12. @cchana Thanks for the update. Is that for the custom status and/or the conditional formatting? Cheers Martyn
  13. @derekgreen That's, okay. the key thing is you will need to know the exact attribute names in LDAP source, in order to add them in the JSON. The link below might help you ascertain which attribute names you need. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms677980(v=vs.85).aspx Cheers Martyn
  14. At the moment it is not possible to rename a column name when using a 'List of Data' Widget in Advanced Analytics, so when the Widget displays the physical database column name, i.e. h_datelogged, h_pk_reference etc. It would be really useful to be able to use the 'as <name>' format then entering the columns to allow the column output to be renamed or for the Widget output to use the field label/translation text. Cheers Martyn
  15. At the moment when adding a condition into a Request List - View, you are not able to use a condition to filter on it 'not set' only if it 'is' or 'is not'. Can the 'not set' option be added to Team, if not all fields in the condition builder. Cheers Martyn
  16. @Tom Brewster At the moment the you can only set/ use the predefined 'New' status within Service Manager. There where some discussions a while back about the provision of custom status values, but not sure if this has progressed. Also at the moment I do not believe it is possible to conditionally format the contents of the request list based on priority or other conditions, except for the hard coded standard colour scheme. Both of these is something we would like to see as well, along with similar facilities to the coloured escalation arrows and conditions fields that where available in Support Works. Cheers Martyn
  17. @derekgreen When we were configuring our LDAP import I found it quite useful to use a LDAP tool to view the LDAP data and get the correct attribute names that were in use in our Active Directory, in order to populate the correctly the "LDAPAttributes" section, as they have to be listed in their in order to use them in the field mapping. The one I used was LDAPExplorerTool which is free - http://ldaptool.sourceforge.net/ Cheers Martyn
  18. @Gerry Thanks. Though we are configured for SSP, the login used by the Dashboard machine is using the bypass option and logging in as Hornbill authenticated user. Cheers Martyn
  19. Is there a way via direct SQL to bulk enable timesheet plugin on multiple Services? We have in excess of 100 services, so it would be good if there was workaround to be able to enables timesheet plugs in bulk. Longer terms it would be a good idea to have the ability to apply operations/settings to multiple services in one operation rather than having to do it individually. Cheers Martyn
  20. @Gerry We are seeing the disconnection error now on a daily basis from our dashboard screens running our slideshow. We are using a dedicated user account and 'multiLoginUSer' ie set to allow, though as we are using a dedicated user this should not apply. It seems to occur around 8 to 9 hours after I go in close the browser and re-open it and log back in again, starting up the slideshow again. I have tested this in both Internet Explorer and Chrome. Is there a session or inactivity timeout applied elsewhere which might not be picking up that the slideshow activity? Cheers Martyn
  21. @riz Thanks for the update. We will keep an eye out for the release. Cheers Martyn
  22. @NeilWJ Thanks for clarifying, did wonder why there was an odd 3 seconds one. Cheers Martyn
  23. @James Ainsworth We have got used to it now and at least you are able to edit it if you forget as long as someone does not go in and comment on it straightaway. As raised in a separate thread we still think there should be a mechanism to edit (with versioning) posts and comments which are not the last comment in the chain, so as to correct information/knowledge being captured in the the work spaces. The reason being is that if a post has a large number of comments you will only get the original and the last set of comments so you could miss a comment in the middle correcting the advice/information in the original post. Cheers Martyn
  24. @Dan Munns In the "LDAPAttributes" section of the JSON, is the "mail" attriibute listed, if not then that could cause the error your getting. Example from our JSON below }, "LDAPAttributes":[ "cn", "sn", "telephoneNumber", "mobile", "sAMAccountName", "userPrincipalName", "givenName", "description", "department", "manager", "mail", "title" ], Cheers Martyn
  25. Would it be possible to have some more granular timing options on the Dashboard Slideshow screen in the sub 1 minute section? At the moment you only have the options for 3, 5 and 10 Seconds. Would it be possible to have 20, 30, 40 and 50 second options? Also it might be an idea to create a Dashboard sub forum under System Administration. Cheers Martyn
