  1. Is there any scope (or alternative method) to be able to change the outcome options on an authorisation node to better fit my requirements? My three outcomes might be something like: Refer to CAB Refer to BAU Reject Currently the only outcome options seem to be accept, refuse and the option of tentative, all of which are greyed out
  2. +1 for being able to link requests in the BP I would use this to link an Incident to a resulting Change (unless there is a different / better way of doing this).
  3. +1 for this We currently use a setup as shown in @Berto2002example, but can see many benefits of using a checklist style as per @samwoo. We use the output of the task fields for decisions and posts to the timeline further down the process.

We haven't adjusted the configuration of our Data Import Configuration since our go-live 18 months ago, however we have changed the way our Hornbill User accounts are created and I have just discovered that I have a few hundred Basic Users with no/missing roles. At the risk of asking a stupid question...if I change the setting to Create & Update, will ALL user accounts be updated with the roles in the list, including Full Users? Will it overwrite what they already have or will it add them to their existing Service Manager roles? Would there be any conflict in the access? I can't afford to lose/reduce access for the Service Management teams to fix the issue. Any help or hints appreciated. Thanks

I think I have the same conundrum...despite having the Advanced Request Task Completer right within a Role Analysts can update tasks assigned to themselves Analysts can update tasks assigned to other analysts Analysts can update tasks assigned to roles Analysts cannot update tasks assigned to teams (where there is no named/assigned user) It would really help us if our analysts could action tasks that are assigned to other teams (when we are in a position to share workload)

Thanks Jeremy, this kinda worked although it doesn't seem to like the | symbol in the string when a variable is inserted and converts it to %7C, resulting in a link that doesn't work and the full URL on display. Tried a few other options too (including removing square brackets as they seem to be superfluous here) but just end up with the URL, when I really wanted it to be a tidy hyperlink. Not the end of the world I guess - I'll keep trying. Thanks for replying

  10. Just returning to see if anyone else would find this useful? Currently the only way I can keep track of scheduled reports is by adding myself as a recipient of the report. Being able to filter on type / dates would be really useful Filters: Status - all / development / available (similar to Progressive Captures, etc) Columns: Scheduled / one-time (or similar) Last run date Next run date

My system.defaultWorkingTime.timezone setting is GMT Standard time but as the UK is currently in BST the answers to progressive captures and Human Task outcomes are being recorded one hour behind. In most cases, the date/time fields are written to Custom Fields either in the IC itself or in the BP - this is because I need to insert the answer to more than one question in a report. Can anyone help me to understand how I can have the report dates to be the exact date / time of the event as we know it, and whether or not this needs to be something I adjust every spring/autumn? e.g. Date Logged in real life today = 30/06/2022 at 10:00:00 is showing in the report as 2022-06-30 09:00:00 (also any advice on how to change the format of the date in the report would also help (Still quite new to reporting!)). Thanks
  13. I created a Custom Button / AutoTask combo for this and in my experience it only works when the request is already in a Team that you are a member of....I have also preceded it with a Get Team Information node

  15. I am quite a Document newbie I uploaded a couple of documents a little while back, published them, added them to Libraries and they are happily sitting there as planned. Today I have uploaded another document to one of the existing Libraries, its not being displayed in the Service but it is visible when viewed via the Document Menu - did I miss a step?

  17. Thanks @James Ainsworth, I think this is part of the problem...its not always easy to know where they are being used. I think a Display Name for the Simple List would be great. At the same time could Hornbill consider being able to filter/search the list of Simple Lists by any part of the List Name (a bit like you can in the IC's, BPM's, reports, etc)?
  18. I am revisiting this post following some help from @Bob Dickinson yesterday where I have been trying to add the answer to more than one IC question to a Hornbill report. We are 99% sure this is not possible so instead I have had to use Custom Fields. Whilst this works fine, I find myself fast running out of Custom Fields and hoping I can explain why more would be beneficial to me: using the example above where only one IC answer can be added to a report, the fields that were previously populated with answers before changing to custom fields do not / can not all appear in my report and cannot be retrospectively updated without a lot of work. This results in either missing report data or separate reports for technically the same thing with the help of our product specialist, we have "dedicated" a number of custom fields to apply across every single request type and these cannot be used for anything else now. I can only see this growing as its very powerful and works brilliantly but reduces the availability of Custom Fields for anything else Intelligent Capture answers cannot be inserted in to email templates (that I am aware of) so am having to use Custom Fields for this purpose too like @HGrigsbysays above I am also having to use 31-40 for Yes/No answers as @Adrian Simpkinsdescribes, re-using Custom Fields often means that data can appear somewhere else where you are least expecting it we use Human Tasks a lot and Custom Fields are updated in the BP to be used again later in the Request, like @Alisha also, sometimes its just REALLY HARD to remember what you have used and where, even with copious notes (is there a report for that @Bob Dickinson?)   19. I have a number of scheduled reports that are automatically emailed from Hornbill, and this works really well. What would be even better, is the ability to add some narrative / free text to the message body that would allow me to explain the report, give some background and also flag any changes that have been made to the report since it was last generated. Could this be considered? Or if its already possible, could someone let me know how I can do it. Thanks in advance.

  22. I seem to have an issue using a Snippet in the Update action, its not recognising the Snippet text as text unless a physical keystroke is made...the update button is not active until I press space bar or similar
  23. Also affected here too. Site is not always captured, present or required but we do require the ability to update the External Ref No without having to add the Site.
