  1. @TrevorKillick Thank you. Would you mind elaborating on the matter of "tightening our restrictions around licensing" please? Is there about to be a change to the pricing model?
  2. @TrevorKillick Change Management User and Problem Management User were also removed from Super User permissions. We don't mind the change in principle, but some notice to us beforehand would've been appreciated
  3. @Martyn Houghton Any joy finding what permission allows this?
  4. @Victor He does have MS Lync extensions enabled, but I think that's probably standard for most of us
  5. @Victor Our customer with this issue has now confirmed he can use the Update feature when in Chrome browser. Still a problem in IE11. I don't know whether updating the Service Manager software had anything to do with this. I suspect not, unless the button scripting has been changed. Thanks for your help with this one.
  6. @VictorThank you. Now I can clear things up a bit! Nice new avatar sir!
  7. @Dan Munns Good news. Following update to Service Manager build1252, this issue has been resolved. For information, we had already tried setting things up as you described in your reply, but this didn't work prior to the update. Baffled as to why it now works, but pleased it now does.
  8. @Victor I've done Chrome > F12 and got the attached results. does this help?
  9. Can Hornbill pickup e-mails from Exchange using any other Protocols that are not POP3 or IMAP?
  10. @Martyn Houghton Further detail: The Edit Task button is available if the person is the request owner. This is no good if the request owner is on long term sick leave or has left the team. Another member of staff needs to be able to reassign the task from that person to another person.
  11. @Martyn Houghton My user has both the following roles. Home>Hornbill Service Manager>Roles>Incident Management Full Access Home>Hornbill Service Manager>Roles>Service Request Full Access Just to be clear, he doesn't want to complete someone else's activities. He wants to be able to reassign the activity from one team member to another team member for them to complete.
  12. I want to delete a significant amount of our Closure Categories/Profiles as part of a clean up exercise. If these are deleted, will this affect closed requests in any way? for example: - if we report on requests that used a deleted category, will it still return the list of requests that used it (i.e. the category is embedded in the request, not trying to reference the deleted entry in categories) - if we reopen a request closed with a deleted category, I assume when we update to resolve it, we'd just get the current set of categories available and it won't break anything?
  13. @Pamela Thanks. I've noted this and will let our super users know to flag up any instances of this occurring after we update Service Manager (probably next week)
  14. @Victor It's both. The request has quite a few questions in it, some of which are mapped to populate the summary and description fields. An example of it working is SR00040024
  15. SR00039184 has not pulled any of the procap data into the request. We've been getting this every now and again for a month or so now, but we are unable replicate the behaviour in tests. Do you have any idea what might be causing this please? The BPM used in this case normally works fine.
  16. PS. have removed the text Finance Query in latest versions just in case it was a problem.
  17. Hi This one is baffling us. Procap: SAP I have a finance query The first custom form node 'Query Type' asks the customer to select what kind of query they are making. The idea is that this later forms the second half of the request summary once created. BPM: SAP I have a finance query The Set Summary Content node should perform the function of inserting the text 'Finance Query - ' along with whatever query type the customer selected. It adds the text Finance Query - , but doesn't add the query type text into the summary and we can't work out why. Both procap and bpm use 'summary' field. What are we doing wrong please?
  18. @Victor I wonder what caused it then. Surely all our browser cache's didn't clear at the same time, revealing the issue. Maybe we'll never know. Just glad it's fixed. Carry on good sir!
  19. @Victor We didn't have any problems until around the time the Admin Tool update was released.
  20. @yelyah.nodrog I wonder if this is this what broke it or what fixed it. We started getting problems about the time this update was made - without notice I might add I think I will also now update Service Manager. Glad it's working for you now
  21. @Victor The update button does not work. The user enters text into the update window, which normally sets the update button as available (i.e. brighter in colour). This isn't happening. The button doesn't do anything when clicked. User has tried on various devices and both IE and Chrome browsers.
