  1. @Martyn Houghton, multi level folders is something we are trying to move away from. In our plans for next year, we want to start working on a smarter way of classifying emails. I can't give details yet but I think it will be very useful. I'll make sure the folders list is ordered alphabetically. Thanks, Daniel.
  2. Hi @Martyn Houghton, thanks for your feedback. We are doing important changes in the server. These changes will give the client more information about what was the change. At the moment the information is only saying "there was a change in the mailbox" but there is no information about what. Once we have that we will be able to be much more precise about what we display and if we need to refresh or not the list of emails. You will see improvements in that area probably after the holidays. One of the areas we need to also improve is to reflect the UI with the rights you assign to the user in the mailbox. So if the user does not have delete message permissions, you should not see the option of Delete. Still this is not a security risk because the server does handle this and it will give you an error. This was not available also in the old email client but will be in the new one. To move an email you need the Can Edit Message right for that mailbox Role. Cheers, Daniel.
  3. Hi @Martyn Houghton, As you can see, this is quite similar to how Outlook 365 works and also Google Inbox (the new Gmail version). I am not saying it will definitely stay as it is, we are still reviewing these kind of things and the more feedback we get the better it will look and work. We will review your reuest. Thanks, Daniel.
  4. Hi @Martyn Houghton, I will let the Service Manager team know about this and will come back to you. Thanks, Daniel.
  5. Hi @DeadMeatGF, This is a known issue and it will be fixed in our next release of the Collaboration Core. Thank you, Daniel.
  6. Hi @Martyn Houghton, I will write a not about these things and see what is the best way to make these work. Regarding searching, at the moment there is a search option, quite basic but it will help you searching on the Subject and Body of the email. We will look for improvements around this area, but in the mide time it might help. Thanks, Daniel
  7. Hi @Ralf Peters, The two issues you reported related to new emails not appearing and when raising a new request from an email you are sent to the old email view had been addressed and will be in our next release. Thank you, Daniel.
  8. Hi @Ralf Peters, I'll have to check this out. Will respond to you when I have a better idea of where exactly is the issue. Thanks, Daniel.
  9. Hi @gregmarcroftorc, I had been thinking on changing something there. Not sure if bold will be the right way, but we will definitely do something that will make it easier to identify an unread email. Thanks, Daniel
  10. Hi @Keith, Looking at the issue a bit more, the problem looks like is a refresh issue (correct me if I'm wrong). If you press F5 the Activity should not be displayed anymore in the list. If this is the case, this is a different issue and is something we are going to be also improving. I will have to speak to the platform team to give you an estimate on the timescalse. I'll get back to you. Thanks, Daniel.
  11. Hi @Ralf Peters, in most cases like message move, delete or new, yes, it will. Our next release will include the Marked as Read also to be reflected. Thanks, Daniel.
  12. Hello @Keith, You are right, cancelled Activities should not be displayed in the "My Activities" list. We will fix this. Thank you, Daniel.
  13. Hi @andy densham, You can create a shortcut with the icon if you just save the page in your bookmarks (of Favourites on IE), then drag the icon from the Bookmarks to the Desktop. Microsoft Edge will be a bit different: Right-click your desktop and choose "New > Shortcut" and paste in the link to Hornbill. That will create your icon. Hope this helps, Daniel
  14. Hi @m.vandun, Is very strange. I've tried installing that Chrome Extension and I still couldn't replicate the problem. Would it be alright if we organise a meeting where you can share your screen and maybe I can se some more details about the problem? If is OK with you, to avoid sending our details over the Forum, if you could send an email to our support and the time you will be available for the meeting (using GotoMeeting) we will send you back an email with the details. Thank you, Daniel.
  15. @m.vandun, I've identified the issue with the blank space in the emails list it, it was related to your specific screen resolution. It is now fixed and will be in our next release. I am not sure if this could be related to the loading more emails in that same list because I was unable to reproduce the issue. But once you get the release, please let me know if it works. Thanks, Daniel.
  16. Hi @Martyn Houghton, The new version does not use the experimental flag anymore as it has now a flag per user you can turn ON and OFF from the UI of the email view. Several issues were addressed and we will continue to improve this. You can see more info in the forum post Please let me know if you find any issues. Thanks, Daniel.
  17. Hello @m.vandun, Thanks for the info. I will check the view with your resolution screen and fix this. If you can let me know if the issue with paging happens to other co-workers or only to you. Anyway I will investigate this issue too. Kind regards, Daniel.
  18. Hi @Martyn Houghton, You should now be able to see the change in LIVE. We are working on more improvements, especially regarding the performance of events and adding more events like when an email is marked as read/unread. We will be pushing improvements in both client and server gradually, so it will get much better. Thank you, Daniel
  19. Hi @Prathmesh Patel, Maybe the problem you have is that you don't understand the meaning of our News Feed? What you see in the News Feed are things you are interested in by following these things. Can be a Workspace (by Joining it) , a Co-Worker or a Request (by following it) So maybe in your case the way to clear things down is to un-follow things? Hope this helps, Daniel
  20. Hi, @gregmarcroftorc * At the top of the list there is an "Order By" option which should be set to Date, then the Arrow next to it should be pointing down, click either to change, they are personal preferences. * You can click at the small icon on the right hand side of the email item on the list to open on a full view. You can also press Ctrl+Click to open it on a new Tab or Window. * Please see the image attached, there are controls at the very bottom of the list to control what you see and in what proportions, we have tried to pick the best options. @m.vandun * The scroll is a virtual scroll, if you scroll down to the bottom, more will load, you may depending on the size of your mailbox have to wait half a second or so for the auto scroll to load more data * We have tried a few variations of showing unread emails, none of which proved to be better. We have adopted the almost exact same approach as both Office365 and Gmail which both have pretty much the same presentation. We will continue to look for ideas as to how we might improve that Thank you, Daniel.
  21. Hi @Alex8000, The change was done and should be available in the next server release could take a week or so. The change: Customer Search now accepts quotes (") to wrap a words containing spaces or a more exact match. Use-> org:"my hornbill" james a Note that if a surname has for example two words like "Van Halen" you will have to search with the correct order, it will not find "Van" but it will "Van Ha". Best regards, Daniel
  22. Hi @Melissa Gurney, The new Email Client has a different behaviour and by default it will not mark it as read when it is opened. This is because now is much easier to open an email and also when you open the list of emails it loads the first on the list. To mark it as read you now have to press on the "read" button (eye icon). We are going to introduce an option in the next few releases that will allow you to have the same old behaviour. Hope this makes sense. Thank you, Daniel.
  23. Hi @Martyn Houghton, We are now in a process of implementing a solution for the issue. When a change in the mailbox is done (delete, move, etc...) you will get an event from the server and the list will be updated automatically. I will let you know when this is ready, Thank you, Daniel
  24. Hi @Alex8000, At the moment the organisation name search will only take the first word and the space will assume that the second word is the first or last name. However, it will search on organisations that will start with that first word. Your suggestion sounds good, I'll add it to our list, it should not be complicated to allow using exact names if wrapping with quotes. Regarding names with spaces or special characters, should alright. Thank you, Daniel.
  25. Hi @Martyn Houghton, Sorry for the delay. We are aware of this issue and right now we are looking at the best and fastest possible solution. I'll comment back when we have an update regarding this. Thank you, Daniel.
