  1. @Lyonel Definitely, We are going to look at this ASAP. I could only see memory issues in IE11, not in other browsers. I even did a performance check today in Chrome and could not see any memory leak problem although I did see something in IE11. Anyway, we will be performing some tests in the next few days to see where that is coming from. I'll keep you updated. Thanks, Daniel.
  2. Hi @shamaila.yousaf, The filter on the Library view only "filters" the list you currently see and it does not work on Tags but on the Document Name. The global search (Document Tags) uses tags, that's why when you start typing it will give you suggestions. You should select one of these. Can you also make sure the document is tagged again? There might be a problem when applying the tag to it. Thanks, Daniel.
  3. Is also is worth looking at the network status from the browser Developer Console. If you press F12 you will see this opening. You can go to the "Console" tab and see if there are any errors and also look at the "Network" tab and look for red text. If you any issues please send these to us. Thanks
  4. Hi @shamaila.yousaf, Can you make sure that in the search box, when you type the tag name you actually select the correct tag? There is a defect where you can type whatever you want in that box and press the search button. In that case it will not be found. Is that the case? Thanks, Daniel
  5. Hi @Lyonel, We are looking at our logs and we can't find any obvious issue. Can I ask you if this problem started since you made changes to your network? Can you test somehow if you can still get the same problem outside of the network? Thanks, Daniel.
  6. @Lyonel we know that IE is significantly slower than Firefox and Chrome. Now, if you just open IE11 without opening any website, it already takes 200MB. Edge will take 15MB. So, a few things. If you are looking for the smallest memory consumption browser I would go for Edge (in Win 10) although is not that fast. If you want to go for the fastest then use Chrome, is the best. Regarding the error message you've mentioned we don't have a record of such problem from our side. Do you only see it in IE11? These users get it constantly or is it from time to time? Thanks, Daniel.
  7. Hi @Lyonel, What version of IE are you using and what windows version? We support the latest two versions, therefore it will be Edge and IE 11. Thanks, Daniel.
  8. Hi @shamaila.yousaf, The document manager has nothing to do with Share Point. So no changes done in either side will affect the other. Changes you make to the document will be reflected to whoever the library was shared with. Hope it is clear, if not let me know. Thank you, Daniel.
  9. Hi @Darren Rose, If you select "All My Tasks" you will see the ones that are assigned to you and also the ones you own. If you want to see the ones that are assigned to you but you DON'T own you will have to add the filter ("assigned to"), but by default you will see all. Hope it helps, Daniel.
  10. Hi @Darren Rose, I can inform you that we have a change request to implement search capabilities for document. Once this will be in place, we will be able to look at making the Custom Buttons to use the Request information to search documents. I must say that using the request description will probably not work very well giving the fact that it can be very big. Request summary will be OK. But we can look at this when the Search is ready. Will keep informing on this post when we have news. Thanks, Daniel.
  11. This release has defects fixes and some preparation back-end for new features
  12. Hi @yelyah.nodrog, Please refer to this previous post: Thanks, Daniel
  13. Hi @Martyn Houghton, Yes, this is the place. As you can see in the screenshots, First enable the flag in the Admin Tool. Do a Refresh in the Collaboration Core to load the feature and Click on the Compose button. You should see this at the bottom of the popup. Let me know if you still have issues. Thanks, Daniel.
  14. Hi @sprasad, We've added a new functionality called Email Templates and Snippets. This is still an experimental feature. Once it is turned ON you will be able to see the option at the bottom of the email composer view. You should be able to manage your templates and share them with teams if you wish. The templates can include parameters. You can use this also as a signature, as it will be added at the bottom of the mail. Always the last template will be set as default or you can set it to No Template. If you want, you can try it but remember this is still under experimental flag. You need to enable this in the Admin Tool -> Home -> System -> Settings -> Advanced - and search for the flag (experimental.feature.email.enableTemplates). Let me know what you think, Daniel
  15. Hi All, A few improvements were added to the Main Menu in the last build. Click Mode - (at the bottom of the menu) That will switch from opening with a mouse over to a click. Also the mouse over (default) works better now. Search the menu - (at the top) there is a new search option. You can start typing as the menu opens, that will bring you a list of options from the menu. * Some tricks... Press Alt+M (Ctrl+M in Mac) to open the menu. Start Typing to search... Press Tab to go to navigate to the search results and press Enter to go to that option. Hope you like these new features! Daniel.
  16. Hi @Paul Alexander, The setting is not available yet but we are working in some new features in that area so it should not take long for this to be implemented. I will keep this post updated when it's done. Thanks, Daniel.
  17. Thanks @DeadMeatGF, @Paul Alexander, I agree with you @DeadMeatGF, the problem is not only changing all of our forms in the entire system and applications but also is making all current customers understand the new style. I am not saying no yet, will have some chats with other people in Hornbill but is also good to know the opinion of customers ;-) Will continue this post... Thanks, Daniel
  18. Hi @Paul Alexander, We have two distinctive styles for a field that is mandatory and a field with a validation error. As you can see in the attached image. (bottom) - the left red border indicates that the field is mandatory, but it might not have an error. The full bordered and sometimes will have an error description indicates that there is a validation error. Some other systems will have a red star in the left hand side of the input, we use a left red border. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, Daniel
  19. Hi @lee mcdermott, The desktop notification must be enabled in the browser. Usually Hornbill will try to alert you about this however there are some cases that it won't be allowed to do it and you will need to set it by yourself. In Chrome, if you click on the "Secure" area next to the web address, a popup will open as in the attachment. Make sure that the "Notifications" is set to "Allow". After setting it the browser requires a refresh to the website (just hit F5 or the reload button). The other thing you must understand is that the notification will only be shown if the browser is not in focus or minimized however it must be opened in the Hornbill Live. Hope this helped. Daniel
  20. Thanks @m.vandun, will raise a defect and will be fixed soon. Regards, Daniel.
  21. Hi @m.vandun, Can you pelase tell me what view are you talking about? Thanks, Daniel
  22. Hi @Steven.Hawkins, We are going to try different things to improve the usability of the new menu. Regarding the click is a bit debatable based n previous comments, because some people don't want to be doing an extra click to select an option, but this is maybe because they were used to the old menu. We are also planing some more improvements around the menu, so it will continue evolving and becoming better. Maybe the click will be optional based on configuration, will think about this. Thanks for your comments, Daniel.
  23. Hi @David Calder, Thank you for your suggestions, you are right, this view is quite old and needs to be updated. We did have plans to do this but in a later stage. I will still raise a change for this and hopefully we can make these improvements earlier than we planned. Regarding the reminder section, it is a defect. I will raise it now and will be fixed soon. Just for you to know, there is a problem with the formatting of the time, it should say 1 day (1440 minutes) Thank you, Daniel
  24. Hi @David Calder, The Activities were designed to be simple and we would like to keep it this way. The checklist was added after as an addition but this I believe is the limit to how much we want to complicate things over here. For setting data from the progressive capture you have the Request in the Service Manager that can be seen as a bigger and more complicated task. Thanks, Daniel
  25. Hi @David Calder, Sorry for the long delay. There used to be a problem where a previous release notes used to be displayed rather than the latest one. This was fixed in the new server build. Also, as @Lyonel mentioned, by following the forum announcements you will not only see the latest changes but also you can receive notifications for when there is a new build available for you. Let me know if you still have issues. Thank you, Daniel.
