Jeremy Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 We are not able to log into Service Manager this morning please can someone look into this for us as a matter of urgency this is via the analyst portal. If we log into self service then we can get in to the system is there something we need to update since the move to the UI last night?
Jeremy Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 so we try to log in to SSO it takes us to the login page and when entering details it goes back to log in with SSO (landing page) then when you try again it displays this:
Keith Stevenson Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @JeremyCan you try this outside of your network Kind Regards
Adrian Simpkins Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I had some problems logging on and one other full User, but after a brief blip we were able to logon as normal - same issue as yours Jeremy but it seems to have resolved itself now after a couple of browser restarts - thanks
Victor Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @Jeremy @Frank Reay @Adrian Simpkins We don't use Apache Tomcat anywhere in our infrastructure. If you get an error message stating Tomcat then it must could be something from your network/infrastructure. 1
Adrian Simpkins Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Hi Victor, No Tomcat messages on my side - it was literally myself and one other User and we got stuck on the SSO logon page - clicking logon just looped back around. Restarted the browser a couple of times, and all good now here thanks. I was just highlighting I had what looks like the same issue but now all working Many thanks!
Jeremy Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 @Victor thank you, but we are getting both errors we seem to have sorted the apache errors which were us but still getting a variety of errors like the first one posted here and...
Jeremy Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 the last image (above) allows us to login now, but then errors. Is there somewhere a default page is linked after logon to direct users?
Victor Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @Jeremy We are looking internally (with urgency). Will come back with more info/solution (if any) as soon as possible.
PeterL Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Having SSO issue for our instance aswell. Trying incognito works by bypassing the SSO and logging in with username/password
Guest Paul Alexander Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 We've got a few people who can't login too - it just loops back to the SSO login page. Others in the same office have managed to log in though, and I've managed (in a different office) to log in successfully. I've asked them to clear their cache etc and will update as to whether that's worked or not when I know... UPDATE AFTER CLEARING THE CACHE All people who reported not being able to get access HAVE now successfully managed to log in. So just a glitch in the matrix somewhere for us....
Keith Stevenson Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @JeremyCan you refresh and try again and let us know. Kind Regards
Keith Stevenson Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @JeremyCan you confirm you get same error on beta.hornbill.com and admin.hornbill.com for your instance Kind Regards
Victor Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @Jeremy also, when you say same, is that the SSO login or the issues after you login or both?
Keith Stevenson Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 @PeterL Are you able to login now. (And if not same questions as above, does beta instead of live work and does error still exists after clearing browser cache) Kind Regards
PeterL Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Fine for us now after clearing cache and restarting browser.
Tina.Lapere Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Hi, We are getting uses who are being asked to sign in - this has only happened today. Is this linked at all? Thanks Tina
