  1. @Ann thanks for your post. What I think would be useful here is a status filter for the associated supplier contracts that's set to only show active contracts by default. When passing a request to a supplier, it shouldn't be possible to select an archived contract so I will double check with development as that sounds like a bug. Alex
  2. @BobbyB thanks for your post. Apologies if I've not understood this correctly but I believe you're asking if an active supplier contract event can be transferred to a different supplier contract? If that's the case, it's currently not possible. You would need to stop the current event by changing the request sub status and then create a new event by changing the sub status to 'with supplier' and selecting the new contract. Supplier Contract Events has always been an area we've wanted to improve - in particular the request to 'pause' rather than 'stop' an event has come up multiple times before. If you'd like to, please feel free to add use case examples in this thread of the sort of functionality you'd like to see in relation to these events and I will forward them to our product team for review.   3. @Will J Douglas I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure the start and end dates of that gantt chart are based on the parent project dates (both scheduled and actual). What I think you'll find is the dates of those 3 tasks in January are outside of the project dates. I'd suggest changing the project dates to include the dates of these last 3 tasks and then try the view again and it should render properly. If this doesn't work then let us know and I'll ask our development team to take a look. Alex
  4. @Ann thanks for your post. After you've set a project or a programme to a status of 'Cancelled' it can then be permanently deleted from the administration views if you have the 'Project Administrator' role. Alex

  8. @Adrian Simpkins thanks for your post. The values in the status field are required by the application and cannot currently be changed. I would suggest adding a custom field of sub status, powered by a simple list of values that you yourself can define. Out of interest, can I ask what status values you would be looking to add if it were at all possible? Alex

  10. @Ann thanks for your post. It isn't currently possible but we do plan on adding a limit when we introduce the concept of timesheet approvals, which is something that's long been in the backlog of features to add. I'll post an update when we have any more news on this. Alex

So you need to search for and find the visibility record where you have visibility over the service desk and delete it by clicking the delete icon on the right and confirming in the popup Then you need to add the new record (second line support) by clicking the plus icon, top right. The visibility section in the timesheet manager admin settings allows you to configure which individuals can view other individuals timesheets and which individuals can view other teams timesheets. So in this example, Sonia can see the timesheets of Brian, Daniel, Dun, Graham, James, Pablo, Peter, Pierre and Rosemary (Greg can see Sonia's Timesheet too) Sonia can also see the timesheets for the following teams: (Service Desk, 2nd Line Support, 3rd Line Support) Alex

  16. @Berto2002 thanks for your post. Initially when the Service Manager > Timesheet Manager integration was done, the requirement was to be able to record the time taken to add updates to requests (which could then be passed onto the customer as chargeable work). As time went on, the functionality was expanded to additional actions, driven by feedback from our customers. There is no reason why we can't open up time recording to more actions in the future. I've referred this post to our product team for review. Alex

  18. @Ann thanks for your post. The way to do it currently would be through a couple of queries. The first would be to get a list of change request id's from the project relationships table and then run a second query to get all timesheet values for those specified requests, so something like this etc: WHERE h_related_urn IN("urn:sys:entity:com.hornbill.servicemanager:Requests:CH00000182","urn:sys:entity:com.hornbill.servicemanager:Requests:CH00000183"). The more elegant, longer term solution however is for us to add a switch to these sort of time recorded views, that allows you to include time from project related service manager requests.   21. @Stephen.whittle thanks for your post. As you say there is no current use of business processes within Supplier Manager. This will change when we introduce lifecycle processes (as they are in Document Manager) although this is currently planned as an enterprise only feature. Once lifecycle processes are available, we will have the ability to offer the functionality and logic required to automatically move cards across a board. In the short term, the only thing I can recommend is the contracts expiry report which can be found on the supplier contracts landing page. This gives a view of how close the contracts are to expiry, regardless of value. Alex

Currently the only way to link an existing timesheet entry to an application entity record such as an incident or a project etc is to navigate to that entity record and to open the timesheet section from the right hand side. The ability to link existing timesheet entries to application entity records from the main timesheet form is functionality we'd like to add, along with the ability for a user to add timesheet entries to other user's timesheets.
