@Ann if you look to the right hand side of the supplier record you should see the owner displayed there. If you are the owner of the supplier you should see an 'edit' button. Clicking on that will open a popup window and allow you to select a new owner. Alex

@Ann thanks for your post. I'm not sure I understand. You can define or change the supplier owner at any time. It's mandatory for a supplier to have an owner so we set that as the person who creates the supplier record if an owner is not explicitly defined. Are you looking for the ability to update supplier owners in bulk? Alex

@Alisha I've asked our development team to look into this as basic users should be selectable. Alex

Supplier Contracts - how to add and can this be done in bulk?
AlexTumber replied to ALIPO's topic in Supplier Manager
@ALIPO Hi Andrew, Try removing the currency symbol from the 'value' field. (so instead of '£1' it just says '1') This looks to be the issue. I'll raise it with our development team as it appears to be a defect. Alex -
@Michael Sharp there aren't any plans to change things at the moment but I will update this thread if things do change in the future. Alex
-
@Michael Sharp thanks for your post. Emailing supplier contacts from a service manager request is not something that we've been able to implement yet. Alex
-
@Michael Sharp thanks for your post. In order to associate a contract to an asset, you first need to associate that asset to the parent supplier. This can be done from the parent supplier or from the asset itself. Alex

Filter contracts by "Active/Draft" by default
AlexTumber replied to Michael Sharp's topic in Supplier Manager
@Michael Sharp thanks for your post. That sounds like a good idea to me and something that is definitely possible. I will pass this requirement onto our development and product teams. Alex -
Supplier Contracts - how to add and can this be done in bulk?
AlexTumber replied to ALIPO's topic in Supplier Manager
The update that includes the new '+' link will be available later this week. -
@Ann thanks for your post. This sounds like an issue/feature for assets in Service Manager. I'll ask a member of the team to comment. Alex

@Alisha in next Week's Supplier Manager update you will be able to select basic users as well as co-workers for the 3 fields in the 'People' section of a supplier contract. Alex

Supplier Contracts - how to add and can this be done in bulk?
AlexTumber replied to ALIPO's topic in Supplier Manager
@ALIPO thanks for your post. We've added a new '+' icon to the list of supplier contracts which functions the same way as clicking the 'More...' button on the contracts section of a supplier (as shown in your screenshot). The major difference is that it won't pre populate the supplier, like it currently does when coming from the 'More...' button. This will hopefully be available in an update next week. In the mean time, if you want to import supplier contracts in bulk, you can do so using a spreadsheet and the import functionality in the Hornbill Admin Tool. For this, you will need the Supplier Administrator role. Alex -
@Ann this issue has been resolved in the next update which is due early next week. Alex

@Ann thanks for your post. Priorities for tasks is definitely something we could add so I'll feed this back to our product team. Alex
-
@Ann thanks for your post. This sounds like a bug. I will ask our development team to investigate. Alex

@Ann thanks for your post. I will speak with our development team about scrolling/paging and the potential impact on performance. The idea of Summary Tasks is to be able to group tasks together in phases of work. You can associate an existing task to a summary task on the relationships tab of each task. Currently there is no way to associate tasks to a summary task from the summary task screen. Alex

Deleted Tasks still appearing as Activities
AlexTumber replied to Dave Woodhead's topic in Project Manager
@Dave Woodhead thanks for your post. Sounds like the underlying system task has failed to delete for some reason. I'll ask our development team to take a look at this to see if they can replicate the behaviour. Alex -
Controls in Edit Task popup rendering poorly
AlexTumber replied to Dave Woodhead's topic in Project Manager
@Dave Woodhead thanks for your post. This will be fixed very shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. Alex -
@Dave Woodhead thanks for your post. There is an outstanding issue that we are aware of which only allows a single progressive capture flow to be used in Project Manager and that is the one shipped by default; 'new project'. Please edit this flow only. It sounds like it is failing to create the project at the end of the process. Please can you contact our support team so they can assist you with the issue. Alex

@Ann thanks for your post. Currently this is not possible. Are you talking about associating a project manager task with a service manager change request? Alex
-
@Paul Alexander thanks for your post. This is not currently possible but I will pass the suggestion to our product team for review. Alex
-
@Jo Sword I'm afraid there is no update on this. It is a feature that is still on our list to add. Alex
-
@Ann thanks for your post. There is no way of creating sub project types unfortunately. I'd possibly recommend using tags as a method of additional categorization. Alex

@Nikolaj thanks for your post. That particular gantt chart will show a minimum period of 3 months. At the moment there are no plans to change this. Snapshots with summary tasks is still on the list of things to be added. Hopefully we will see that in an update soon. Alex
