  1. @Keith @Darren Rose thanks for your posts. Custom fields were something that we talked a lot about internally during initial development and is something that we definitely have plans for including in the future. Watch this space... Alex
  2. Thanks for your post @Keith. I'll pass on your feedback to our product and development teams. Alex
  3. Thanks for your post @Keith. For the beta release, we felt the easiest and most straight forward thing to do was to have a single progressive capture for all projects. I have no doubt that this will evolve and change and we may see functionality like that of the service catalog in service manager. For now though, you should be able to switch progressive captures in project manager by using a switch node. If you are using project type to make a decision, then maybe something like this would work for you: Alex
  4. Thanks for your post @Darren Rose. I can see the value of what you are saying here and will feed this back to our product team. Alex
  5. Thanks for you post @Darren RoseI'll pass this on to our development team to investigate. Alex
  6. @m.vandun fyi, the ability to create project templates is coming and will be included as part of the next Project Manager update. Here is a screenshot of the configuration screen in the Admin Tool:
  7. @Lyonel thanks for your post. Yes please, all feedback and suggestions are welcome. Alex
  8. @Lyonel thanks again for your feedback. I'll pass this information over to our dev team. Alex
  9. @Lyonel thanks again for your post. You probably won't be surprised to hear that we have big plans for the gantt views, including the ability to be able to create objects such as tasks and resources and indeed to edit key information for existing objects. These are features that you will see added over the coming months. Alex
  10. @Lyonel thanks for your post. I can definitely see the value here. I'll feed this back to our dev team. Alex
  11. This has been fixed and is available in the next Project Manager update.
  12. This has been fixed and is available in the next Project Manager update.
  13. Hi @Lyonel thanks for your post. I'll pass this on to our dev team to investigate and consider. Alex
  14. @Lyonel thanks for your post. This looks like a similar issue to what we had with the budget field as reported here: I'll pass it onto our dev team to take a look.
  15. I should add that when the boards feature does become enabled by default, it will use the new Hornbill Board Manager app which is currently in the later stages of development :-)
  16. @Lyonel thanks for you post. For the initial release, we wanted the ability to be able to link documents that are already in your document management library to a project. As we go forward, we should see some big changes in this area as you're right, it's not convenient to upload in one place and then have to come back somewhere else to link. Alex
  17. @Lyonel thanks for you post. Yes, the boards functionality is not available and will remain hidden behind an application flag for a while yet. Alex
  18. @Lyonel yes I'll raise this with our dev team, thanks.
  19. @Lyonel thanks for your post. I'll raise this with our development team. Alex
  20. @Lyonel thanks for your post. As you've pointed out, currently there is no validation on date selection in terms of project dates and milestones/tasks. This is something that we are aware of and will be adding to the project soon. Alex
  21. @Lyonel thanks for your post. Yes that's one thing that will definitely happen in project business processes. You'll have the ability to update milestone progress through an automated action. Alex
  22. @LyonelI don't disagree. I'll forward this to our dev team.
  23. @Lyonel That's strange, have you tried logging out and in again or refreshing the page since you changed the progressive capture and made it active?
  24. @Lyonel thanks for your post. I'll feed this back to our dev team. I do believe the plan is to move the Hornbill platform over to Bootstrap 4 at some stage but I couldn't tell you when that is. I do know it's been discussed internally though. Alex
  25. @Lyonel thanks for your post. Currently it's not possible to 'delete' a project. It's only possible to cancel them which is in effect a 'soft delete'. For sure, this is a feature that we could add and I will be sure to pass it to our dev team. Alex
