@Darren Rose Would it be fair to say that 'business strategies' in this case are a form of project category? but with the notion that a project could be part of multiple different business strategies? Would a useful feature for Project Manager be the ability to tag projects, much the same way that you can tag documents in Hornbill Document Manager?

@Darren Rose what sort of information are you looking to store in these custom fields? Is the information generic across projects or is it more specific to each project you have? Alex

@Darren Rose thanks for your post. I definitely agree with you. It needs to be changed. At the moment, there is no functionality around dependant tasks (it is basically just a link between tasks) however we are looking to increase the functionality in this area. I will keep you posted. Alex

@Darren Rose @TSheward_SGW In the latest Project Manager update which has just been released, new project tasks will show the name of the project instead of the project id:

Hi @TSheward_SGW, thanks for your posts. Regarding assignment, are you wanting to assign project tasks to roles instead of project stakeholders? When you say filter Activity views based on tasks, are you talking about the ability to categorise tasks and/or the ability to distinguish which application a task/application has come from? Alex

@Darren Rose The next update to the Hornbill Admin Tool will make it possible to insert variables into an iBridge node param that contains a search box. We expect this update to happen sometime over the next couple of days. Alex

@Darren Rose this issue has now been resolved. The version of the application (171) which was pulled at the end of last week had once again made its way into the live app store (when it shouldn't have done). We have investigated the issue and have put the necessary checks in place to make sure that this can't happen again. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Alex

@Darren Rose the query that sits behind the code has been updated to search on request id as well as summary. This won't be available until the next service manager update as the code that is running sits in that application. I'll post back here when that update for service manager goes live. Alex

Hi @Paul Alexander, thanks for your post. I will chase this up internally. As it stands only the owner/assignee should be able to reassign a project task. Alex

If you go into the admin tool and look under system >> security >> keysafe and then select Hornbill (you'll probably only have the 1 iBridge connector). You'' be able to see the api key that's being used. If that is one that is associated to your user profile (which I suspect it is) then it will technically be you who is creating the project. The app setting that adds the project creator as the owner (which I assume is switched on) is then setting you as the Project Manager. If you turn this app setting off then the project should create with no project manager. Alex
