  1. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. Do you mean a Hornbill notification to the Project Manager? (Like the functionality available in project milestones) Alex
  2. @Jeremy thanks for your post. All feedback (both good and bad) is most welcome. Alex
  3. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. I will pass on your feedback to our product team. Our first priority is to add logic for dependencies between tasks within the same project. After that, if there is enough demand for cross project dependencies, then it is something that we will no doubt look into. Alex
  4. @Nikolaj with the impending release of the Hornbill Boards application, the setting in Project Manager has been removed. If you have the new Boards application installed, it will automatically be available inside of your projects. You can add one or many boards to each project. When the app is released, Harry Hornbill will be making a video to demonstrate some of the main features :-) Alex
  5. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. The topic of automated actions via bpm in Project Manager has come up recently during internal meetings. I will find out from our product and development teams where we are with this and will post back here. Alex
  6. @JJF100296 thanks for your post. This is definitely a feature that we are interested in providing for Project Manager but it is not something that our development team are actively working on at the moment. I will post back here as and when that changes. Alex
  7. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. This sounds like a bug to me. I will ask our development team to take a look. Alex
  8. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. This is something that we had always planned to do, but for the initial phases of Project Manager it was deemed sufficient to leave everything as a more general privilege. Please feel free to list the rights that you would like to see become available and I will feed them back to our product and development teams. Alex
  9. @mojahidm thanks for your post. Having spoken with our product team, I can confirm that this is not something that we are working on in the short term. There are other features that are currently in development that are focused more around internal projects. As always though, if there is enough demand from our customers, a feature or change request can move up the priority list in no time at all! Please do keep posting your suggestions and enhancement requests on the forum. All feedback (both good and bad) is most welcome. Alex
  10. @Darren Rose I'm pleased to say that the next Project Manager update will include the ability to customize the columns in the project portfolio 'My Projects' and 'Favourites' views on a per user basis. Each user can set the columns in any order that they like, showing and hiding the columns that they want to see. Additional columns for scheduled start and end dates as well as actual start and end dates have also been added. Alex
  11. @Nikolaj the next Project Manager update will include a new role 'Project Portfolio Manager' which will allow the granted user the ability to access all projects and to see them in the Portfolio View. Alex
  12. @Darren Rose @Keith @Lyonel @Nikolaj I'm pleased to say that there will be a new role in the next Project Manager update called 'Project Portfolio Manager'. This role will superseed the role 'Project User' and offer identical functionality, other than the one addition which is that it allows access to all projects. Alex
  13. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. I will feed your request back to our product team. Alex
  14. @Nikolaj thanks for your post. This is something we are actively working on. I hope to see it in an upcoming Project Manager update. Alex
  15. @Darren Rose you'll be pleased to know that in the next Project Manager update you will have the ability to sort project tasks within a project by: * name * progress * status * assignee * start date * due date This update is planned for the early part of next week. Have a great weekend. Alex
  16. @Darren Rose I couldn't agree more with you. Please do continue to feed back both positive and negative aspects of the Project Manager application. All feedback is most welcome :-) Alex
  17. @Darren Rose thanks for your post. This should be simple enough to add. I'll ask our development and product teams to take a look. Alex
  18. @Dan Munns our development team have identified and fixed the issue. The fix will be available in the next Project Manager update. Alex
  19. @Paul Alexander I'll ask our team to investigate as that sounds like a bug to me. Hopefully the full functionality will be available in Project Manager soon. Alex
  20. @Paul Alexander thanks for your post. This is an area that we are actively working on at the moment. The basic concept is that any project stakeholder should be able to update a project task for that project, even if it is not assigned to them. Alex
  21. @Darren Rose thanks for your post. I'll feed this back to our development and product teams. Alex
  22. @Darren Rose you'll be pleased to know that the ability to filter both projects and project risks by project manager will be available in the next Hornbill Project Manager update. Alex
  23. Hi @mojahidm, Firstly, thanks very much for your post and thank you for installing the Hornbill Project Manager application. Hornbill Project Manager is currently focussed on internal projects but that's not to say that it won't change in the future, especially if the demand from our customer base is there! From what I can tell from your screenshots, you are interested in introducing collaboration between internal project stakeholders and external contacts. If the activity stream of a project were to appear on the portals so that external contacts could collaborate, would this be the sort of thing you are looking for? Alex
  24. @Dan Munns thanks for your post. Our development team is currently looking at the issue. Alex
  25. @Dan Munns If you're talking about re-opening a bpm stage that has already been completed, that is not possible. What I have seen in Hornbill business processes before, especially incident processes is where you have the resolution stage divided into what I guess you'd call 2 stage closure. In this example, an incident is resolved by an analyst and will automatically self close after 3 days. If it is reopened before then, the stage in the business process can technically restart and the checkpoints can be updated accordingly: Alex
