I keep getting the following information notice appear All mandatory date filtering fields have to be provided in order for the date filtering to take effect.
When I select 'All Data' - No matter how many times I Save it will not set to all data, if I select no period filtering it does not seem to show everything, particularly service requests. The aim of this chart is to see a breakdown of work between a team and within a series it breaks down by request type

Same here - not functional but now visible
-
Upon further testing, it seems its just me it doesn't log them for, as an Admin maybe?

- Bookmarks do not log visits to service requests and change requests {PM00180663}
This was fixed today; unfortunately it is not actually fixed as it does not log to the h_sys_pagevisit_log table, If i click the new insights button on resolved requests it does log, but not from opening up the request itself

Could you show us the query/filter

Hi,
I am building dashboards for our service desk analysts personal performance stats - it's saves having to run in depth reports unless anything is flagged in the dashboard.
I have a count list item that returns the last time of activity and I would like to make the color condition based on the difference of curdate() but the below only seems to accept numerical values.
is there anyway I could achieve this? a more simpler one is the sign in time for the day, I return the minimum value for the curdate being when they first logged in, I would like to be abler to make the value red if after a certain time

Is there something I can change for basic users on the asset form? as I am getting quite a lot of feedback that basic users are clicking the actual asset opposed to the 'link' button and naturally it says they don't have permission to see the asset record
-
I think there is a Hornbill supplied one called 'problems with linked incidents' This will more than likely get you to a running start for Changes, just adapt the filter
'Problems with Linked Incidents'

Hi @Steve Giller,
it's mainly a Partner we send the reports too that they wanted an extra field to state the contact type so they could import directly to their system. It's not something I'm willing to use a custom field on a request for when its the same data over and over to be repeated for each account type essentially
-
Is it possible at all to add custom columns to reports? I'm not referring to the custom fields available
I want to add a literal to a report for example in a direct query I could write select 'test' as Test and it would create a column of Test with a value of test.
is this possible at all as when I try for testing it seems to be ignored.
for example

When I run this for a month period it returns no results, I have a hunch it is timing out, is anyone able to assist with making the query more efficient?
-
@Alisha it's a toggle button next to the used by
however with what you have said it doesn't sound like you have yours set up this way, once set as shared you will then see a shared owners list you can populate

I have managed to resole this myself with some sub query magic

it's very irregular

Hi @Gerry I am noticing errors in the logging of service request views
-
I think it is mainly service requests with the error
-
I have noticed when navigating around service requests or change requests and known errors, these do not seem to be logged in the table at all or if so very randomly ?
Could this be looked into as monitoring the views is vital to our reports and access

Ideally I would like to join the activity to the nearest time stamp of the page being visited, and not all the page visits that came prior also
-
Hi, I have a report that links the requests, activities, and page visits together in a fashion,
I have ended up with some duplicate results on activities against each page visit which I would ideally like to remove, I understand it happens as the page as visited multiple times and the same activities match the join criteria over and over, it's not awful but not ideal and I was wondering if anyone with a better knowledge on sql could help me with this? I was thinking about only joining based on an update being done within 1 hour of the request being viewed, however this is not ideal as many analysts leave tabs open and go back to them after this time so I would miss activities with that criteria

You'll definitely need to adjust the filters on that mind
-
This is a very raw report we run that may get you started

you'll want to click this icon in the templates area, the magnifying glass one

We have just had a meeting with Hornbill in regards to the software asset management, it's very sensitive to the version numbers patch and security side and we are mainly concerned with the main version, It would be nice if we could link multiple versions to one 'Software Asset Record' if that makes sense, at the moment I have to do some funky joins on a report that only checks the first 2 numbers of a version. We have ran into a problem of wanting to be able to see what software is on our estate but we still hold disposed records for 7 years for the financial data so this side of the system doesn't ignore retired assets which has grounded us on any progress with this.
But if there is some way of linking based on this that you have shown it is a much better idea, or even a 'parent asset' maybe. I just can't make sense of creating new records for every version for a product like edge for example- 1

I found it, that's a hidden little gem isn't it
Bringing Suspended Workflows back to Active Manually

I currently have to go and dig out the email that was sent and mark as rejected for it to loop on ours, a more defined option would be preferred such as cancel pending authorisation etc, I would be curious to see what an auto task setting it to suspend in the past would do, but it may still be focused on the authorisation action
