  2. Hi Alex, Apologies it was an early morning ramble We have a large number of Suppliers details logged within our Supplier Manager module. However, we also want the general contact information held within these Supplier Management records to show under the Contacts area within Service Manager, so rather than grant everyone access to Supplier manager to view the contact details, I wanted to see if there is anyway to show the existing contact details stored in each supplier record within Contacts. I just wanted to avoid duplication of supplier contact details both within Supplier Manager, and Contacts Many thanks
  3. Hi All Currently we have a large number of our Suppliers contact details stored within Supplier Manager. However, we want to offer just the contact details out from these records like a Contact would be setup, rather than having to duplicate data already stored within Supplier Manager. So I wanted to see is there anyway to have the contact details logged in our Supplier records, or would we have to create a standalone contact. Ideally I would want to limit who has access to the Supplier Management data, so offering this as a general role to all is not suitable. Many thanks!
  4. hi All just wanted to see if there is anyway to use Knowledge Centre internally for our Service Desk? Our idea was to load guides and FAQs for the Service desk to search against when a customer calls as at the moment they have some spreadsheets with contact numbers, key data, who deals with what etc and I wanted to explore any possibilities to load this to the System for the Analysts Many thanks!

  6. Hi All, just wanted to double check is there any method where I can reassign ownership of someone's request list views that they configure and share out to teams please? I have a member of staff moving to another role, who has a number of Request list views for their team which I need to transfer to another owner. I thought I saw something around this posted previously, but could not find anything when searching. Many thanks!
  7. Just a chase up on this suggestion please. I was sure there were some comments on this suggestion advising this would be added to the Dev path for implementation, but I could be wrong!   11. Hi All, We are working on tailoring our Asset data, and have come across an issue with the Department field. The department field seems to indicate there should be a drop down list associated to it, however I am unsure where this list would be. The field itself does not appear to be a freetext field as you can type in the field, but once your move out of the field it clears the entered value, then shows as below. I have checked in the Manage Substates field in create new asset but this just seems to refer only to the Substate listed options. Anyone able to advise further please? Thanks
  12. Hi All, We have created a new bulletin today where we wanted to display 5 web links for our Customers to view / use. However, when making it live due we are only seeing 3 of the 5 URLs but when reviewing the configuration for the bulletin it does confirm that we have 9 characters remaining so I would expect all the text to show in the bulletin? Many thanks (sorry forgot to add I fixed it by removing the duplicated text 'To see what this means etc' but just wanted to understand why not showing all the text even though 10 characters remaining for future reference) First image shows the configuration confirming 10 characters remaining: How this shows on the Bulletin:

  16. Hi Gerry Thanks for the posting about the upcoming changes to the logon for SSO - I wanted to check is this going to be an option we can turn off/on or will all our existing customers have to use this whenever they logon to the Service Portal side? Many thanks Adrian

Hi James Just as an update I went through all our change requests this morning - total of 64 - you can imagine the fun I found 8 requests in total which had lost the link all in varying Lanes / stages in the lifecycle. They appear to all be raised against versions of our change BPM where other requests are retaining the link having gone through the same processes. Some of these other requests are in Lanes which will require CAB review at some point, so the 404 will appear in our meetings at some point - the CAB manager is aware though so will work around these as they appear. As mentioned above, its not a massive issue but it is causing a little frustration in our CAB meeting when trying to jump to one of the requests with the broken link so if I could get to the root and resolve it I would have a happy manager ! I will go through the requests again and check the versions as advised, then post back again with the results if that's ok Many thanks!
  24. Hi Trevor I have 2 versions of this BPM - one has just an add node in the 1st stage, then a remove node in the end stage. The other has an move node after each activity and this one works fine end to end and removes the request from the board. The only difference in the new one is I have removed the move nodes after activities, so just the Add / Remove Card nodes in the start / end stage. Not sure if only having an add then remove node is causing the issue perhaps? Thanks Adrian
