  1. Hi,

When creating Target Counter widgets I've noticed that the title only appears in a small bar at the top of the widget, see 'Numbers of Resolved Incidents This Month' example. This makes it difficult to read when on a large screen. Is it possible to instead have the title shown in large font beneath the counter like the 'Number of Resolved Service Requests Today' widget example?:

  2. Hi all,

Is it possible to upload an image for an asset during a CSV import?

I've tried by entering a URL and local path but get the below errors:

URL: (EspMethodCall::invoke: Operation[data::entityAttachFile] Cannot find virtual folder from the specified URL)

Local path: (EspMethodCall::invoke: Operation[data::entityAttachFile] The value in element <fileName> did not meet the required input pattern constraints. at location '/methodCall/params/serverFile/fileName')but neither work.

    Thanks

  3. @Steven Boardman - you're absolutely correct! Can't believe I missed that!

Quick side question - in the progressive capture I have a checkbox section which asks the requester to confirm what applications their new starter requires. Have I setup the BPM correctly in the event that they select multiple applications? i.e. if they've selected both Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project will both activities be assigned?

  4. Hi all,

I'm in the process of building our new starter BPM, which includes a parallel processing section for AD account setup, application access, equipment setup, etc.

I'm encountering an error when trying to validate the BPM however, see screenshot. I have decisions that determine whether application setup is required based on the requesters progressive capture answers, not sure if I've set this up correctly however?

  5. Have there been any further developments on capability for updating assets?

I also have a number of assets imported from SCCM, which I have purchase information, etc. as well as images for each device model. Is there any way to bulk update them from CSV or similar?

  6. Hi all,

Currently our analysts spend a lot of time chasing customers/users for a response for additional information or confirmation of resolution. Is it possible to build a BPM that can automatically send a chase e-mail to the customer and/or reminders for the analysts to call the user?

We generally work on a 3-strike rule, if the user hasn't responded or we've been unable to get in contact with them after 3 attempts (via phone, IM or e-mail) we then resolve/close the call.

I'd also be interested to understand how others approach handling requests which remain open due to a lack of response from customer.

    Thanks in advance

  7. Does anyone know if it possible to automate the creation of an AD user via progressive capture/business process?

We currently have on-premise Active Directory which is synced with Office365. So if automated user creation isn't possible with on-premise, can it instead be done with Office365? If so, any tips or guides on how would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Hi all,

We're in the process of migrating from Supportworks to Service Manager, one thing I've noticed is there doesn't appear to be a way of flagging an incident with 'First Time Fix' which was a feature that existed in Supportworks. Is this something that needs to be configured?

    Thanks in advance
