  1. @Ehsan Thanks for confirming its on the list still though disappointed it's not made it any further since this was raised by multiple people early last year.

So am I right in saying then that there is no way for me to change the link as first mentioned?

    Tina

  2. Morning @Ehsan it's around the look and feel of it and the information that's on there.

This is what would show if we used the service view (and what Customers are presented with when they click on the service name from viewing a call):

    image.thumb.png.05c6ee21d7b98da47b5e77e02580c695.png

We don't want the bulletin to appear here as we have it on our front page, I don't want any of the information on the left hand side, and I want to be able to design how the catalogue items are presented - all of which I can't do.  So this is how we've setup our services pages (as links):

    image.thumb.png.f98bc65aee5661821a6f8930eb3366ad.png

It's cleaner, we don't have to have a description (or a dot if we don't need one) and it fits with the customers feedback from our existing service portal which is they only want to see information thats relevant to them (our service doesn't need a detail, we don't use make a request as that's what the catalogue items are for, requests are presented on the ICT home page, and we don't use Documents.  I'd need to be able to hide all these options as a start.

This is how HR have setup their page:

    image.thumb.png.10603714ffe6fc6a50d2367fbca7c633.png

But this is what they get if they click on the My Team link from viewing a call:

    image.thumb.png.39d6fc6e368661213fdb98c912c3dd6c.png

The lack of design functionality in this area has meant we've had to create and setup the catalogue items as links.  This therefore fits with the design of the portal.  It's not ideal and will be confusing to if are then presented with pages they are not used to seeing and kind of defeats all our hard work trying to make it look simple and only present relevant information to customers.

I hope this helps explain why I need to be able to change that link to be able to point to the pages I've designed (certainly until Hornbill allow us to design the services pages to what we have above).

    Thanks

  3. Hi,

We are working with HR for starters/leavers etc and in their business process it logs us a separate call which uses our back end service (Joint Processes) and relevant catalogue items.  This works well however on checking the ICT call on the portal we have discovered that they are able to see all of the ICT parts of the joint processes within the service (that are only used for logging our ICT calls).  We have to have this visible for the customers to be able to keep track and update the ICT call but I don't want them to be able to view the service & catalogue items on the portal.

How can I stop this please?  I can't have people using this as the above are not linked to the HR process.

They should only be logged via the HR portal which is on a separate page.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks

  4. @Conor Yes I'm good thanks - I hope you and the family are too.

We made this change ages ago to be fair but I've just added a 1 and published it

but it's not showing on the other pages even for me

Am I right in assuming this should now say Service Desk1?

    Thanks

  5. @Daniel Dekel I've just worked out that if a domain is down as a System Domain (as in one from out of the box) the public option isn't hiding it from the customers, however if it's one we've created the public option works and hides it from the customers.

So the only way to hide the HR & ICT (in our option as we've used one the portal came with) is the disable it so the customer doesn't see it on the header.

    Is this a bug?

  6. @Daniel Dekel Ours is about the look.  We want a clean and simple portal (ignore the internal processes that are on the image - only ICT & HR Analysts can see those). We just have 2 simple icons and to move between them we want them to click back to the home page (it would be nice to be able to change the name 'Company Home' to something else to be honest)

Like @BobbyB we have used links to the services (on the domain pages) rather then the Services widget for the same reason - you can't customise it and therefore looks completely different to how the rest of the portal has been designed.  I'd be interested to know if this is being worked on as it was flagged quite early on after the lauch.

I've raised another question about this because our customers can still get to the Services widget (which I don't want them to be able to do) when they are viewing a call on the portal.  Something I'd also be grateful to hear back on.

If by disabling the service domains this will cause issues - can you please let me know how we go about hiding these from the header as we go live in 2 weeks time.

    Thanks

    Tina

  7. @Alisha We have a similar setup (go live next month) and have links to the domains from our main page.   We found the only want to do this was to disable it for each domain.

    image.png.c5ba5473cce5b07724afad73477e4b61.png

We've tested it and we can still get to the pages via the links on the main page but the options disappear on the top right.

@Daniel Dekel - As we are yet to go live - am I missing anything having it like this?

    Thanks

  8. Hi,

I want to be able to change the link on here please.  Can someone let me know how I do this?

    image.png.1e4e515b946f359db034c67b054265a2.png

We don't currently display the 'Services' page as it's not possible to customize it (something I've asked for from the beginning) so we've set it up as links.  This particular one goes straight to the form.

    image.png.6c8c3674bd92d535d362166eff63c801.png

This issue here is that the customer can click on the wording from their call and be taken to the service page.  We don't want this to happen as it doesn't fit with the rest of the portal setup.

  9. Hi,

We seem to have an issue that when a call is logged via the new employee portal any dates entered are coming through as null.  See example below:

Call logged -  On portal it shows:image.png.70ce523ecec7e133a4100418aa535d4b.png

When it comes through in the call:image.png.4f36ca30684c68dae99755259fb6c2a2.png

This is effecting all calls that are coming though the Employee portal.  This seems to be a recent thing.

I've logged the same call via our existing service portal and it's coming through fine:image.png.229b0a954ab739f11f7ccc2aa26354b5.png

Can someone get back to me asap please as we are meant to be going live with this next week and I can't work out what's wrong.

    Thanks

    Tina
