  1. Your node looks pretty much the same as mine which also updates the content.  Does the person who invokes the update have the right role (even if they don't know they're updating the card by taking the preceding action)?  My team have 'Board Manager' role which means all of our automations work even when they don't actually use the Boards themselves.

  2. I opened this project back in May but for various reasons it didn't actually start until today.  I have moved the start and end dates of all the milestones and tasks to today but the Gantt view still shows months from April and there is no horizontal scroll bar, which means I cant view the end of the tasks which go all the way through to May 2024.  (Note I did delete some tasks that started and finished in Q2, not sure if that is why the starting month is April, nevertheless I still cannot scroll).  Any ideas?

  3. Thanks @Gerry

I think what you are saying is, the user may well need to enter multiple rows where they would need to see the whole data set in front of them at one time in order to validate (for themselves) they are submitting the right data? to make sure they have not missed a record etc... hence the tabular layout - is that right?

In my single scenario, yes, that's right

Good news, the change that we have outstanding will include the set message priority option within the email template.  This will be available in a future service manager update - keep an eye in the announcements section.

@Nanette did this ever make it forward in the pile?  I've had a look just now and don't see a way to increase the importance of an email sent via the Action bar.  If I'm missing it, perhaps someone can enlighten me :)

  5. I think it would make it far harder for them to compare one form to the next form, or the form 20 pages back (also, where do you stop?!) but yes the horizontal scroll bar could be prohibitive.  Its just a shame we are using Hornbill storage for the attachment.  Lets see what other interested team scenarios are :) Have a good evening

  6. @Gerry  This is definitely a 'want' not 'need' scenario :) It doesn't need to be in tabular form and yes an IC could do it today, but personally I feel its a better user experience (both end user and Service Manager user) if the tabular input view was available.  For one, I imagine 30 rows would take up something like 20 pages of questions once the request is logged and if set, the summary panel would be very long.

In this example the Resource would be a Data Query of basic users, appointment type would be a static drop down select box, slot name would be single line text field, slot duration could probably be removed if we're asking for start and end time using a picker as it would be obvious from the answer how long the slot would be for.

I do already have a different IC where it gives up to 6 'log more' options so I know its possible to do it that way, the IC is already heavily 'daisy chained' to cater for this.

    Thanks

  7. In an acute hospital setting, one example of where we would find this useful would be for all our outpatient clinic administration, this is a screenshot of part of the excel spreadsheet that we are currently uploading to Hornbill for every new clinic that is requested, it could be populated with anywhere between 1 and 30 rows each time.  As it stands, we wouldn't want to do anything with this data (although the potential for this could be significant) however the ability to present it and read it back in this format would save a lot of attachments and would make it easier for the customer and our team to action.  Genuinely looking forward to seeing other examples as I think this would be a great addition, even though I have no doubt its not an easy one to implement.

I know the copy widget has been requested in the past and I know it will save quite a lot of time when designing multiple pages. We have that in our list since then, but is not as simple as it sounds to implement it and also we have other changes in our backlog. Hope we'll soon get to this.

Just wondered if there is any movement on having functionality to copy widgets please @Daniel Dekel ? Thanks

  9. I have a Change Management Board, and on each card I add the scheduled start date (I use the Utilities/Date Formatter to change the format of the date).  If/when the scheduled start date changes in the Request, is there a way I can have the scheduled start date refresh on the card to the new date?

Just for info in case its important, my card has a unique key reference for this board as there are multiple cards doing different things.  Thanks.

  10. @AlexTumber just created a new Project from template and this seems to be OK now.

I have a feeling some of the tasks in the example shown above did not have start dates when they were created from the Template before I updated it, and despite updating them manually once the Project was created perhaps the Summary Task view was not picking them up somehow.  Not sure.  Will monitor, thanks
