Dan Munns Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Hi, Is there a way to clear child items from a dynamic form if the parent item is changed? At the moment if I select an option and a child and then change the parent, the original child stays as well as the new one. This is an issue as all the items are mandatory but the old child item is now redundant. Thanks
Steven Boardman Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Hi @Dan Munns i assume this relates to the progressive capture custom forms and conditional flags? if so could you include a couple of screen shots in a worked example so we can get the behaviour looked at? Thanks Steve
Steven Boardman Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 @Dan Munns do you have the PCF def txt file which we can look at to see if we can unpick the behaviour?
Dan Munns Posted April 18, 2018 Author Posted April 18, 2018 @Steven Boardman I have sent the screenshots and definition file via PM. Thanks
Steven Boardman Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Thanks @Dan Munns i'll get these looked at
Miro Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Hi All, So after quick investigation I think I finally fixed the problem. It will remove any fields values that are hidden and have conditions defined. Otherwise field value will be still there (as for some reason some customers are using hidden fields to put values in custom forms). Regards, Miro
Dan Munns Posted April 18, 2018 Author Posted April 18, 2018 Thanks @Miro Any idea when this will be live?
Steven Boardman Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 @Dan Munns just doing some testing with it and then it will go out in an update, should not be too long hopefully days rather than weeks (subject to successful testing of course)
Miro Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 @Dan Munns as far as I know it could be even tomorrow but as @Steven Boardman said all tests must be passed. I will make update here once it happen.
