Automating Reports

Hi all,

Is there a way of automating reports at all?

I was hoping to be able to email certain reports at certain times of the day / week / month like we could in Supportworks

I was also hoping to be able to lock reports to a role or user name but I don't seem to be able to do that either

As it is Friday I may just be having brain issues though.

Any help would be appreciated

We are working on a Scheduler app, however not sure when and how it will available in live instances. At present this is not available in the current functionality.

Will this scheduler app encompass the reporting functionality?

I was under the impression that it was just going to be a way to raise scheduled tasks similar to the API tool

@Dan Munns it's still in development, but already has the ability to schedule a report to be run every X hours/days/weeks/months as required. It will also attempt to deliver the reports in your preferred format(s) by email, as long as the report is available within a reasonable amount of time.

A Scheduler app will be a very welcome addition to Hornbill. I'll watch for this development with interest.

Is the ability to schedule reports not available in service manager? This was in Support Works so it seems like a pretty fundamental tool to miss out?
