  1. @Steve Giller Its a long time since I did this build, 5+ years, but we have a general business process each for SR's and IN's, so everything from our area feeds into those and there are branches within if it specialises for some reason. Up until a few weeks ago, this requirement for a closure category never showed in Facilities, but always showed in ... (stopped typing because I've just realised all the issues have come from Finance not Facilities, and I may have forgotten to build it in on their newer process! will update you if I find the problem!)
  2. Morning all I have had the above issues raised to me about 9x in recent weeks, since an update I believe. We have no use for closure categories in our area of business, but another area uses a handful and so we don't have the option to turn the closure category feature off. Therefore, we build our processes to auto assign a closure category and allow our staff to resolve as usual without having to do this step. However, since a recent update, the above keeps popping up, but it is not showing the staff an option to choose, even though we have two options to choose from in the tree (below) Therefore, our staff are weirdly having to leave the request to get rid of it, because upon reentering the same request the requirement to choose a closure category has disappeared. Any ideas on how to resolve this, or remove it for our Services but not others?

  4. Hello all We in our department use assets as our way of assigning contractors to jobs, as we don't have a contractor portal of any kind. This allows us to assign them to the job so we can report on how many they've attended. As this doesn't enable us to contact them in any way, we have created guest accounts for each contractor to store their email addresses so we can communicate within Service Manager. However, upon adding a new asset today for a new contractor, I've got into the Guest Account window and all the icons to create/edit are greyed out. Does anyone have any idea why this might be, or how to get around it? I'm hoping its not because we need to do it via upload/download!

  8. James Nothing unique about their account, no similar names, and their name is appearing on the assignment node. Lauren
  9. We have a specific team member who is a user, has the right roles, and is within the right team, but they are not appear on the ''assign to'' box on new requests. I've demoted them to Basic and reinstated their licence, removed and readded them to the the team and reviewed their roles but all is as it should be. Any ideas?
  10. That's exactly what I ended up doing, but had to explain to them it was the only way I could create a hidden demo otherwise the force would be logging requests before we went live
  11. Afternoon all Is there a way of creating a link on the homepage only viewable by me? I am in the midst of building a new service and the future owners have asked for a demo to be set up exactly how they would use it once live, but every time I try and create this it's visible by the whole darn force! In the service portfolio, I am the only supporting member, but I assume that doesn't track across the hyperlink?
  12. Sorry, I don't have the right terminology language to explain as you did. Essentially, we are building out our HR service to include more than just the Leaver Notification pictured. We are slowly adding all elements of our HR transactional work to the service. One of the categories customer can choose will be called ''Leavers Processes'' and within that category there will be things such as 'career breaks', 'references' etc. The team have asked if we can have a link directing to the same place as the ''Leaver Notification'' catalog item pictured. We're trying to cover all basis of where a customer may look to find the Leaver Notification and so being able to dual link from the catalog item above and the category ''Leavers Process'' would be really handy depending on how customers use the system. This secondary link for the Leavers Notification within the 'Leavers Process' category would use the same intelligent capture and business process as the catalog item.
  13. I think I know the answer to this, but wanted to make sure before I break something that's live and working! We have one element of a Service live, pictured, whilst I build out the rest of the service in the background. We need to keep this linked as its own catalog item, but is it possible to also link the IntCap behind this to a choice within another catalog item i.e. an ''I would like'' catalog item with subsections within?

  16. @Paul Alexander - how does the cancel function work? Does it stop the intcap from logging at all?
  17. Are we able to redirect the 'next' button within a intelligent capture if the customer has chosen a specific option in the question set? Example Customer chooses 'Flexible working application' which is an eForm within Frevvo. Can't rebuild it in Service Manager due to not having authorisation licences for all line managers, so have to keep the form in Frevvo. Instead of clicking 'next' and having a 'Please click this hyperlink and do not click finish' type situation, are we able to redirect to the Frevvo and upon that click have the SM ticket autoclose? @Alisha

  20. The print function to create PDF, to include the entirety of the timeline info. As HR have so many supporting docs, they were hoping the timeline and the docs could all create one large PDF instead of the timeline, and each individual attachment.
