  1. @Dan Munns ah right if it is a limit of 25,000, I will be above that - so i will just stick with the measure and use the reports for shorter stuff i.e.monthly good to know though
  2. @Dan Munns just checked and the value was set to 6000 - looks like it has already been changed to this value previously (not by me)
  3. @Dan Munns funny you should say that as once I had posted this originally - I thought Iwould create a measure to see if I can just get that figure. It does seem to have generated a figure which seems about right. thanks for the help. I will still try the report setting to see if that does allow the report to run

  5. Hi, i am trying to run a report to see how many calls in total we logged in Hornbill since going Live last April until the end of the year 2017. It first returned 6000 in total for Incidents and Changes. So I amended the filter for only Service requests and this also returned 6000 entries. Too much of a coincidence I think. So is there a setting that limits reports to 6000 entries? Also it does not create a PDF - is this because the output is to large? I fi reduce the time period to 1 or 2 months it does create a pdf thanks lee
  6. @dwalby We deal with our emergency changes via email. So when the change is logged it will generate an email to all CAB members - it then requires 2 to approve (via email). When these are received back into the mailbox (in Hornbill) the change is processed. Normal changes are emailed to CAB on a weekly basis - once approved (via email) the change is processed. Standard changes - when logged we have a list of pre-approved changes to select from. The change will automatically process through and gets assigned to the actioning team. Some of our standard changes are things like, reboot print server, add dns entries, apply microsoft patches. add mailgate rules etc. lee
  7. I agree being able to upload images into Hornbill would be a useful feature. The same issue applies to trying to add any company Branding to the Portals. You have to link to an external URL. So we have had to just leave ours as it was out of the box unfortunately.
  8. @Victor hi victor - totally off this topic..how do I raise a request to use some of the support hours we have available. Do I need to raise a request with what help or work we are looking at getting done?

  13. @Victor Hi Victor, Yes I am only storing the answers in custom fields so I can populate emails. This is how we had it setup originally to populate emails so I have always used this method as I was not sure how else to do it? So if there is another way that should be fine as long as I can get the answer into an email.
  14. Hi, I have 2 custom forms on a progressive capture. So once logged I want to send 2 separate emails, each email will have details from each custom form. The first email will send details using h_custom_a, b etc from custom form A, the second email will send details from custom form B. I have found that the second custom form must contain the h_custom_? after the last one (h_custom_?) used on the first form. So in my example the first custom form uses 8 fields so h_custom_a through to h_custom_h. The second form however has 12 fields so has to start at h_custom_i. As the custom form fields only go to q I am unable to populate the 2nd email with all the fields from the 2nd custom form. Hopefully that all makes sense? I have tried adding the get request questions from the custom form as shown below then sending the email and then adding another get request questions for the 2nd form and sending that email. But this doesn't work, it does send both emails but still seems limited to coping with custom fields a-q only for the whole progressive capture rather than for each custom form. So my question is how can I populate the 2nd email with all the fields from the custom form in my progressive capture. thanks lee
  15. Hi, I have logged this as a support call. Our hornbill instance is not working. We can still log into the system but beyond that everything seems to generate an error. One error being inconsistent database or you do not have permission to view or random flow code errors. Is anyone else experiencing any issues? thanks lee
  16. @Chris Temple Hi Chris, I don't think we even have this feature enabled that I am aware of. How do you switch this on do you know as it would be very useful? Is it a system setting in service manager or is it on by default? thanks lee

  19. @Gerry @Daniel Dekel Hi, Yes it is the icons Gerry mentions. I'm not sure the exact software he uses but he has some software that reads the screen and list the information. So in this case the icons above are displayed as a vertical list but they all just say "Link" so he has to guess which link is related to which icon. He is managing and says everything else is fine for him. But yes his feed back is to have the ability to change the icons to actual text would work a lot better for him. thanks lee
