In some of our PCF's we require our customers to enter a change number (CHxxxxxx) that has been raised. We would like when they enter this number in the PCF and a job is created, that the BPM will link the 2 together.

Is this possible?

We have a requirement for something like this as well, for customers to be able to link tickets by entering the reference number.

Assuming you want to link the newly created request from the progressive capture to an existing change using the provided reference number...

I've had a look and I don't see an existing operation in the BPM for linking existing requests, only to create new linked requests.  If this is what you are looking for I will see if this is something we can provide.

Regards,

James

@James Ainsworth

I cannot find where to create a new linked request, only update or resolve already linked ones. Can you point me in the right direction please?

You can find information about the Log Requests BPM Operations here

@James Ainsworth

I have been looking at Log Requests BPM Operations but does it automatically become linked to the original request or how do I go about that?

FYI, we have created this by creating our own integration (via API) so you can enter a reference number or we have some simple lists that are updated with numbers and summaries so that we can link to problems/critical requests etc.
