  1. Hi @Victor

Thanks for getting back to me. I can edit any posts, even those not posted by me - is this because I have a certain role?

What we're after is the ability to lock down editing of posts to certain individuals. This means that users won't be able to amend their own posts - only those who have permission to make changes to posts.

    Thanks
    Lauren

  2. Currently, you can switch on the editing of posts - updates, resolution etc for everyone. Is there a way to only allow certain members of staff (maybe belonging to a specific role or group) to edit posts?

    Thanks

  3. Some of our authorisation nodes contain between 10-15 approvers. Each time we require their authorisation, the request timeline is stamped with 10-15 updates where activities have been generated to each of the approvers.

We'd like to be able to turn off the timeline updates when approval activities are generated. I cannot see in the authorisation node in the business process that there is a way to turn this off. Is this something that is being planned for a future release?

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

Some of our boards have lanes that contain 10+ cards and often the order of the cards in a lane will need re-ordering. We've found that the lane doesn't scroll when you hold the card at the top/bottom of the screen (as you see with other apps, e.g. MS Word when dragging say an image onto a new page). The only way to do this is to drag and drop, and repeat a couple of times until you reach the intended place for that card. This can be problematic and time-consuming when there are more than say 5 cards on a lane with a low width.

As well as this, we've found you cannot always drag and drop a card into the right separator. It's hard to explain, but it doesn't always land (or give you the option to move) to a separator - especially if they're closer together.

Are there plans to make the moving of cards more efficient?

    Thanks

  5. Hi,

Is there a way to restrict a date/time selector in the progressive capture? As an example, as part of our Non-Standard Change progressive capture we have a date/time selector for the start and end of the proposed Change.

I'd like to restrict the start and end dates to 10 working days from that date, as anything within 10 working days is classed as an emergency change and should be logged in a different way. Is this possible?

Also, is it possible to stop analysts from setting the end date/time to before the start date/time? Some analysts are forgetting to set it and therefore the Change end is set as the current date/time, which is then before the Change starts!

    Thanks

  6. Hi,

As a Service Manager admin, I am able to see change freezes in the change calendar (the days that the change freeze falls upon are greyed out). Our staff, who have Change Calendar Viewer and Change/Release Management User roles are not able to see change freezes from the change calendar.

Is there a way our staff can view change freezes from the change calendar without giving them elevated permissions? As far as I can see, the only way for a member of staff to know if there is a change freeze on is when they're trying to schedule a change.

    Thanks

  7. Hi

We've got a widget on one of our dashboards that displays all requests owned by a certain team that will breach within 24 hours. It has the headings reference, fix target and owner.

When there are no requests belonging to that team that are due to breach in 24 hours, it shows the column headings but nothing underneath (below). Is there something we can configure so that it 1) doesn't show the headings at all, or 2) states "no results found" (or similar) below the headings?

Some staff may see that and think the widget isn't working correctly, as the headings are displayed but no requests!

    Thanks

  8. Apologies, I know this applies to the activity list rather than Service Manager.

If you are listed as a line manager in the user properties, you are able to see that person's activities via My Activities. However, if the staff member you are managing manages others, you cannot see those staff members' activities as well. Is this designed behaviour? If so, is there a way for a manager to view the activities belonging to every staff member that they are responsible for (i.e. all staff members that are below them in the structure)?

    Thanks

  9. Hi

We use project tasks heavily and have noticed that task properties display differently when opening them from My Activities:

Whereas they appear as below from within the Project:

Are there plans to make these appear as per the second screenshot when opening a task from My Activities?

    Thanks

  10. Hi,

Apologies if this is a silly question, but is there a way to configure a business process to raise two or three activities at the same time? We have some business processes that will require work from multiple teams, at the same time (i.e. one team's work isn't reliant on another team completing their activity).

    Thanks

  11. Hi

We'd like to be able to limit the requests that can be linked to other requests - when searching for problems or known errors to link to an incident, problems/known errors from all services are returned.

We'd like to limit this so that only requests logged under the same service as the request you're linking from are returned. I know you can specify a service, but we'd like to reduce the risk of incidents being linked to the wrong problems.

    Is this possible?

  12. Hi,

I'm trying to build an email notification into our change and release business processes, that emails the analyst who raised the change/release once their request has been approved.

I can't find a way to do this, either using the variables (by selecting external email address) or by emailing customer (presumably as it stores the requester in the "Raised By" field rather than "Customer).

Is there a way to achieve this please?

    Thanks

    Lauren

  13. Thank you @Steven Boardman - I appreciate the suggestion but we couldn't have one group for all CAB authorisers as there is the risk that one approver could approve on behalf of another team. Unless I've not understood correctly? It would be the same for one role. Using multiple roles would work, but seems a bit much to set up/manage to achieve this.

Hi @Gerry that is something that would work unless it relies on the availability of the manager to permanently show as "On Holiday" or something. If it was just a setting they can enable (until turned off) without depending on anything else, that'd be great.
