1. the Hornbill mobile app is no more showing the email content on the mailbox associated to the service manager
2. @Victor just to double check you are reffering to: so if this is true can be tested on a live (failing process) doing the change you are suggesting? i expect the affected one to be closed automatically. or this has to be done for each process which is currently using the wrong flowcode? thank you
3. @Victor & @James Ainsworth any news on this topic?
4. @AlexTumber I fear there's not... and also could you ask to open a case on our success portal? it seems like i'm not able to log a new support request.
5. @AlexTumber Thank you, I'll be waiting for an update
6. when I try to create a New Project I get this error:
7. @Victor so based on what you have explained before I must adjust all the similar BPM I have with this flowcode, correct?
8. @James Ainsworth I'm not sure to have fully understood what the outcome must be for a 2 stage closure. So would you be so kind to provide me a definition file as example? Regarding the language, the example i was refferring to was resolved by my self, english is my default language. other analyst that has worked on the request have the italian as default language.
9. the Hornbill mobile app is no more showing the email content on the mailbox associated to the service manager
10. @Victor & @James Ainsworth thank you for the feedback and support. Consider that this BPM was suggested to us at the very beginning of our "Switch on" so if the flowcode is not the correct one: - why is it working for almost 99% of the other request based on the same BPM? - it is because something has changed in the meanwhile? - do I have to review all the BPM with this flowcode? Thank you
11. @James Ainsworth here is the goto node definition
12. @James Ainsworth thank you James, it will be very useful
13. @James Ainsworth thanks to your support i was able to find out some of the failed workflows. the strange thing is it's not finding some requests that are reopened and resolved by the system, some kind of loop. i've found for example this: if i try to edit it in the bpm editor: i only see a green automatic task, so what is should do now?
14. @James Ainsworth thank you for the quick reply, i will now use it and let you know
15. @James Ainsworth it seems like the team is randomly finding out some broken requests... can you please help me with the report you were talking about?
16. @James Ainsworth thank you, I was able to find the solution also on my own (I like Hornbill!!! ), but it seems like that result are coming only if i type the exact name... by the way that's ok... Anyway I was asking this because I would like to give to our user a form with a list of assets they have the ownership and responsible for returning back if leaving the company. You know a form the employee can easily put a signature on... Do you have any suggestion?
17. Is there a way to get a pdf report for a prompt specific owner?
18. @Steve G yes please avoid creation of a new asset if the api call fails As far as i know there are no connectivity issues and looking at the log after 1 second the tool is able to go ahead, or am I wrong?
19. @Victor and @Steve G I've found an error message into the log file for a specific duplicate: 2019/02/14 10:34:53 [ERROR] API Call failed when searching instance for existing Asset:Post https://mdh-p01-api.hornbill.com/datalogic/xmlmc//data/?method=entityBrowseRecords2: dial tcp 78.129.173.117:443: connectex: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. 2019/02/14 10:34:53 [DEBUG] API Call XML: <params><application>com.hornbill.servicemanager</application><entity>AssetsComputer</entity><searchFilter><column>h_serial_number</column><value>1DDN8H2</value><matchType>exact</matchType></searchFilter><maxResults>1</maxResults></params> 2019/02/14 10:34:53 [DEBUG] Create Asset: 1DDN8H2 2019/02/14 10:34:53 Unable to Search for Group: The element <entity> was not expected at location '/methodCall/params/entity' 2019/02/14 10:34:53 [DEBUG] API XML: <params><application>com.hornbill.servicemanager</application><entity>AssetsComputer</entity><searchFilter><column>h_serial_number</column><value>1DDN8H2</value><matchType>exact</matchType></searchFilter><maxResults>1</maxResults><application>com.hornbill.core</application><queryName>GetGroupByName</queryName><queryParams><h_name><nil></h_name><h_type>5</h_type></queryParams></params>
20. @Victor and @Steve G I confirm that the duplicate are new one once removed, and at least since 3 days ago till now.
21. @Victor and @Steve G it seems like the duplicate are randomly created. Please consider that: 1. the sync tool is running each hour 2. the duplicate item seems to be from time to time a different one (it seems to me a random failure on the validation criteria) i will provide more detail once i will compare the duplicate item, and i will send in private the log file to @Steve G
22. can anyone support us? even with the suggestion provided by @Steve G we have duplicates entry (with the validation criteria set on h_serial_number)
23. @Steve G and @James Ainsworth it seems like that even with the serial number validation we have duplicate entries, do you know why this is happening? we are using this sintax and the client "goDBAssetImport_v1_7_2"
24. @James Ainsworth it's good to know there is a new setting available, but this will not help us. The title and the info Message Instead will for sure provide an help. When do you think it can be applied to the site in PC???
