As far as I am aware at this stage, this is a caching issue within the browser and we are looking into this.

If affected Users can try, in order:

  • Refreshing the page (F5)
  • Hard Refreshing the page (CTRL+F5)
  • Clearing the cache (via settings)

this should resolve the issue.

I'll update here if I am passed any further information.

I cleared my cache after my previous message, and have gone back to the Employee Portal, and now the issue has occurred again, but just for a single widget on the main homepage. I haven't checked in any of the sub pages though.

It's not really my expertise, but I believe that the issue seems to be the Browser is caching pages that carry a marker saying they should not be cached.

We are looking to see if there's a way to prevent this and have pushed a patch to improve it already, I have updated Development that we are still receiving reports of this issue.

Some customer are reporting an issue when opening the employee portal today.

Instead of seeing the content they get empty boxes with the following messages.

Widget [corePageLinks] not available due to an error when plugging in

Widget [homeCoreCatalogServices] not available due to an error when plugging in

Widget [smRequestListWidget] not available due to an error when plugging in
