Some of it is resolved now, some are not

As far as I am aware at this stage, this is a caching issue within the browser and we are looking into this.

If affected Users can try, in order:

  • Refreshing the page (F5)
  • Hard Refreshing the page (CTRL+F5)
  • Clearing the cache (via settings)

this should resolve the issue.

I'll update here if I am passed any further information.

I am getting most errors on the smRequestListWidget.

It will intermittently show data and on subsequent refreshes will show an error - it is not consistent as to when it will show an error and when it will show data

Hi,

Our users are getting this message when trying to log calls through Customer Portal and was hoping someone may have an idea of a fix

Widget [homeCoreCatalogServices] not available due to an error when plugging in

Thanks

Lynne

Hi @Steve Giller,

Is it still a caching issue as far as you know?

I cleared the cache earlier and the problem went away, and now it's back again.

I cleared my cache after my previous message, and have gone back to the Employee Portal, and now the issue has occurred again, but just for a single widget on the main homepage. I haven't checked in any of the sub pages though.

It's not really my expertise, but I believe that the issue seems to be the Browser is caching pages that carry a marker saying they should not be cached.

We are looking to see if there's a way to prevent this and have pushed a patch to improve it already, I have updated Development that we are still receiving reports of this issue.

Thanks @Steve Giller - wonder why this is happening now, I'm not aware of any MS Edge browser updates (but I haven't checked yet).

Some customer are reporting an issue when opening the employee portal today.

Instead of seeing the content they get empty boxes with the following messages.

Widget [corePageLinks] not available due to an error when plugging in

Widget [homeCoreCatalogServices] not available due to an error when plugging in

Widget [smRequestListWidget] not available due to an error when plugging in
