Jeremy
So we have our change process that I have now seen this for the second time this week... where the BPM stops at a node. This has not happened before: In the change request, the task has been completed but it won't move on. In the instance log it says this: There is only one error in red but I have no idea what this means. If anyone can shed some light that would be great. James Ainsworth
Using the Manage Executed Processes option that is on the tool bar of the main list of BPMs, are you able to resume the BPM?
Jeremy
@James Ainsworth no it appears as a status of 'In Progress' so cannot restart/resume it, those options are blanked out.
Jeremy
we have another one of these day, where I cannot move the process along with the same issue. @James Ainsworth
James Ainsworth
Is it on the same Authorisation node?
Jeremy
@James Ainsworth yes this node is a Human task that the analyst completed which is either let me add an authoriser or CAB authorised then it either auto authorises or you can add a person to authorise. Victor
@Jeremy if you need to "unstuck" any of your current running workflows having this issue please let me know.
Jeremy
@Victor does that mean that we can fix this issue?
Victor
@Jeremy you can but you need to be familiar with all the APIs behind the scene and you build a tool to invoke specific APIs with specific params. Even so, given the nature of the fix I would never advise a customer to perform it themselves and leave this to HB staff.
Jeremy
@Victor ok, so in that case if this is a 'known' issue how can this be resolved going forward?
Victor
@Jeremy that's for the developers to figure out, there is an ongoing conversation regarding this issue. I was merely offering assistance to "fix" the ones that are "stuck" until the issue is fully addressed.
