  1. @Victor Do you know if there has been any progress on fixing this within Chrome?
  2. @James Ainsworth - We're now in a position where we are ready to review our knowledge management system/process and make a move away from our wiki which has unfortunately become unstructured and difficult to find the information you're looking for. Hornbill is therefore the primary solution as this is the destination application for many of our users. Has there been any further developments or features added to Hornbill for knowledge management usages? A few other questions... Is it still recommended practice to upload knowledge documents and organise into collections? Is there a way to automatically open a file and preview it in document manager, rather than having to download it each time? How would you define the usage scenarios between FAQs and documents in Document Manager? Thanks in advance
  3. @lokent Did you find a solution to this? I'm sure I've posted on a similar thread on this forum elsewhere but I can't seem to find it now We encounter similar issues with task assignments, for example if someone is assigned a request and subsequent human tasks, other members of the team are unable to complete the tasks on their behalf (if the original owner is off ill, away, etc.) I tried the app.experimental.advancedRequestTaskCompleter setting previously, but we had to remove this as it allowed users to complete human tasks in other processes that were intended only for the Change Manager.
  4. Today I seem to have lost access to view/edit the Service Catalog, could this be related?
  5. @Victor strangely on second attempt of logging a request of this type the fields mapped correctly, weird.
  6. @Victor - I think it's something to do with the fact I'm using the same BPM for 2 separate Catalog Items as it successfully maps the fields for one Catalog Item but not the other... Will update if I find out what it is.
  7. Following on from this, I've setup a ProgCap with a custom form that maps the completed form answers to Custom Fields within a Custom Details Form. Strangely it seems to be skipping one of the field mappings and messing up the ordering of the form. As you can see below, the ProgCap for this field maps to h_custom_b This should then map to the below Custom Field within the Details Form. As you can see the field in the form is blank but has mapped the ProgCap answer to the field below (Number of people affected which is h_custom_c) Any ideas why this might be?
  8. @Victor - Sorry to chase, has there been any progress on this? If not, do you have any suggested alternative methods? Thanks in advance
  9. @Victor - Thanks, hope we can get a resolution to this as I was hoping to go live with the solution next week.
  10. Yeah I was tempted by Planet Coaster! Maybe next time, or I could try the shady underworld of marketplace Steam keys for a hefty discount...
  11. Any of you buy anything during the Steam Summer Sale? I think I must've spent a day in total trying to find something to buy - I had £50 Steam credit, ended up getting: HITMAN - GOTY Dragon's Dogma Just Cause 3 Firewatch Hellblade Crazy Taxi Fahrenheit
  12. @Victor Silly question, but how do I subscribe a department to a catalog item? I know how to subscribe departments to Services, but can't see an option for Catalog Items?
  13. @Victor Thanks, that's a shame, but your alternative solution should work.
  14. Scenario for doing this by the way is for reporting Data Breaches (required by GDPR), the branching is required for a particular department who need to provide more information than anyone else in the organisation.
  15. Hi all, On the Service Portal is it possible to create a branch during the Progress Capture based on the requester's department? I've tried adding a Organisation Details node to the Progress Capture, then branching on Organization Details->organizationID == %organisation%/%department%/ but it doesn't seem to work. I am however testing this myself and I'm a member of multiple teams within Hornbill, not sure if that's the issue? Thanks in advance
  16. Thanks @Victor Another question... maybe one for @Steven Boardman as he's just replied on the other thread in relation to this. I've noticed the Change Request details form has pre-defined fields available, is it possible to automatically map ProgCap answers to the Change Request details form using the concepts outlined here? https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Mapping_Fields_from_Customised_Forms I can't see a mention of the pre-defined Change Request fields in the wiki but assume it'd be a case of mapping to the fields such as h_implementation_plan for example?
  17. Thanks @Victor in that case I have just posted a question here with regards to custom fields which I need some clarification on.
  18. Hi all, This is going to be a little difficult for me to explain... When working in the Request Config section of a Service, it allows you to View Details Form and design the form by adding custom fields, etc. I've designed a form for a particular Service which contains a custom field - Custom A, but when attempting to design a form for another Service Custom A's display label is the same, can this be edited without affecting the config in the other Service? Hope this makes sense
  19. Hi all, Is it possible to add answers from Progress Captures as variables to e-mail templates? The only way I thought of doing this was to map the Progress Capture answers to custom fields on the request form within the BPM, then use the Custom A-Z variables within the template. Not sure if this was long winded though? Thanks in advance
  20. @Victor - Jeez that was quick! That seems like a very logical explanation for why they wouldn't be appearing. I'll check and confirm back!
  21. Hi all, A few end-user's have reported that they are unable to view Service Requests on the Service portal. Is there a default setting or something that would be influencing this? I can see my Service Requests on the portal, so it doesn't seem to be affecting everyone. Thanks in advance
