enhancement Request category column for the request list view

In a future iteration please can I ask to get a Job type column added to the list of columns available would be useful for filtering

I would be interested to understand how you use Job Type in reference to requests. Do you use this for a particular request type?

I may of used the wrong terminology so I do apologies, what we want to see is what the category listed. This would be useful for quickly picking out certain types of jobs.

Hi Gareth,

Having a column in the request list to show the current category assigned to each request would be beneficial. I'll discuss with our development team and look to get a change put into our plans. I'll try to let you know once this is scheduled.

There are some considerations here around how it would look and work. If you select a large number of columns, either you won't see all of the category information or if it's forced to show in it's entirety then you may have other information that is squashed/truncated.

Hello, Even though I do agree that it may cause info overload on the screen, these columns are optional so the design would be up to the individual.

I think if you gave a tier option so depending on how granular you wish you have that option

Just to close off this old topic, the ability to have the category displayed within the request list was complete some time ago.
