with the last build it was released an enhancement to display the button even if the request is already assigned, except if the assign functionality is locked or disabled.
Can you please check if you're not in one of these cases for your request ?

Hi Armando, thank you for advising.

I have checked and I don't think this is one of those cases. For example this request is assigned to David, and the option to assign it to someone else manually is available so I don't believe assignment is locked or disabled. I am logged in as myself.

As can be shown, the "take ownership" button is missing. Is it something that manually needs to be configured to appear or is it an application setting that can be enabled somewhere?

In the next Service Manager build the Take Ownership timeline entry will follow the same guest.ui.app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.operation.defaultVisibility.assign setting as the Assign action.
