Service Manager deleted emails folder

Does anyone have a quick way to delete multiple emails from the Deleted items folder. It will only let me do one at a time ok or all of them but with the message below and im not fully aware of the implications. i only want to keep the last 3 months really.

@7oaks Does the emails.purgeDeletedItemsAfter setting look like it will achieve this for you?

Steve, Does the associated email data get removed from logged calls i.e. historical data.?

The request timeline entry remains however the email will not be accessible from the "View Email" option in the timeline entry. But the timeline itself remains with whatever content it currently has.

@Steve Giller Sorry to hijack this, but is this a global setting for all mailboxes? As we have 4 in use and would like different retentions on different mailboxes.

Yes. Technically, this is a global settings for ALL emails (which means any/all mailboxes).
