Pin Favourite Views

Hi,

We have several views that are visible by all staff, as they've been shared at both team and service-wide level - the list of "Shared Views" for some is quite lengthy.

Is there a way that views used regularly, that have been shared with staff, can be pinned so they appear on the main "Views" list?

The simplest way round this is to get all staff to create their own views, however this will take a fair bit of time.

Hi @Lauren

It's not quite pinning, but each user can choose a common view (own, default or shared) and set this as their home view - so it will open each time they land on the request list 

1. select view

2. Set view as my home

 

I can raise the issue of pinning favourite views and see what can be done with this

With regards to the default home view - it is likely that analysts will need to navigate between multiple views per day, so I'm not sure that this will be ideal.

Thanks @Lauren we will take a look at the options for grouping or pinning views and once this progresses and we have the story prioritised and a timeframe known we will post back here and update.

There was a request for a 'filter' option on the Views list...I don't know if this might help with your request here?

@Alisha thanks added, @Paul Alexander yep we are looking at adding a few options to improve the views usability when a user has created or had many shared with them
