stuartmclennan Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Can an option be added to the box when we are updating a log that we could either just update the log or email that update to the customer? For example, we update jobs with emails and updates which we would like to ability to forward these within an email.
Steve Giller Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 If you send an email it will also be recorded in the timeline - which is exactly the same as updating the job and forwarding it as an email; you're just using the email option rather than update. If you've moved over from SupportWorks it's an oddity that you have to get used to, but it's much more efficient than having every update you post sent as an email and bombarding the customer. Maybe changing the name of from "email" to "update and email" would help people to get their head around it?
