Can Audit History be switched on for the Notes field?

Afternoon All

Hope you are well.

When updating an asset, the notes section is not showing that an asset has been updated.  We have been advised that the Notes field does not have an audit trail and is not user configurable.  Is it possible for a field to be included that can record the audit history of the notes added please?

When I update the Description of an asset (a Laptop in this case) I see the change in Audit History (below)
However when I change the Notes field on the same Asset, the change is not logged.
I that behaviour configurable? Can auditing be switched-on for the Notes field, such that we can see any changes in Audit History?

I've merged these posts as they have the same request.

This is still under review, however as the Notes field is a TEXT field (unlimited) this may not be possible.
