TWoodford
Good Afternoon, I have a problem with an error (see attached) when trying to view dashboards that my manager created for my team to view. The dashboard should be visible to me (and it is to other members of the team) but I get the error saying no charts and configured or visible. Is this something to do with permissions? I already have the Dashboard Viewer role assigned to me - but possibly this does not apply to Views created by individuals (e.g. my manager)? I would be grateful if somebody could explain this to me as I still feel fairly inexperienced in Hornbill admin! Many Thanks Thomas
Adrian Simpkins
Hi Thomas - I presume you have access set in the Dashboard config as well as the role? You would need to be granted access here either by Group, or individually
Steve Giller
@TWoodford This view: Is nothing to so with the Advanced Analytics Dashboards. These are individual Service Manager Dashboards created from Request List Views and are documented on the My Dashboards page.
James Ainsworth
Hi @TWoodford Thanks for your post. The starting point is to look at your list of Views to see if any of these have a chart defined. If you are looking for charts that are provided in a Shared View, you will need to make the charts visible. Charts that are included in a Shared View do not automatically get added to the My Dashboard. They must be made visible by clicking on the cog icon and then the icon to make them visible.
