  1. Hello All We have received a request to change our settings in Hornbill, so that people who are added as 'Connections' to calls can view Attachments. Currently they cannot see these. We noticed that the attached setting is switched off. By switching this on, would we achieve the desired effect, i.e. would those people who are added to Requests and Incidents as 'Connections' gain the ability to view the contents of files uploaded as attachments? Is there any risk of adverse effects if we switch this on, and if so, can you give me some specific examples please? Thanks
  2. Good Afternoon, I have a problem with an error (see attached) when trying to view dashboards that my manager created for my team to view. The dashboard should be visible to me (and it is to other members of the team) but I get the error saying no charts and configured or visible. Is this something to do with permissions? I already have the Dashboard Viewer role assigned to me - but possibly this does not apply to Views created by individuals (e.g. my manager)? I would be grateful if somebody could explain this to me as I still feel fairly inexperienced in Hornbill admin! Many Thanks Thomas
  3. I don't think the comments about external contacts help us here, because the users are already set up as Basic users, and the only way to give them more access would seem to be to change these to Analysts. That would require more licenses, and would allow them to see other calls that we do not want them to see (i.e. calls raised by other Organisations).
  4. Good Morning, We have had a request to give some users in an Organisation the ability to view calls raised by all staff within that organisation. We don't want them to have full analyst rights, nor do we want them to be able to see calls raised by staff in other organisations. Is that possible, and if so please could you give me a step by step guide. Many thanks. Thomas Woodford
