Adrian Simpkins Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 Hi All I have a change request where the change was sitting with our CAB approvers to review and approve in our weekly CAB meeting. However, it appears another user who just has normal change access and is not granted the CAB approver role was able to process the pending activity and mark it as rejected? Image 1 shows the task specifying only CAB approver's can do this task. Image 2 shows his roles he is assigned. Image 3 shows the custom change role and it's access rights. Steve Giller Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 The task will be available on the Activities panel to the right: Looking at the Timeline entry the Task may not have been assigned to anyone - in my timeline the assignment is recorded. Steve Giller Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 This isn't an Authorisation, as far as I can see - it's a BPM Human Task. If that's the case any User with the Advanced Request Task Completer right will be able to complete it, regardless of assignment. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adrian Simpkins Posted June 22, 2023 Author Share Posted June 22, 2023 Thanks Steve - yes its just a BPM human task rather than using the authorisation functionality - thank you for picking it up> I presume I will just need to build a new BPM using the authorisation process to tie this down so that only CAB approvers can action the task.
