Dan Munns Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Hi all, I have a BPM set up where I need to email any attached files to a group of people (with no SM access at all) but cant see a way of doing this? Help?!?! Thanks Dan
Steve Giller Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 @Dan Munns I think the simple answer is no - you can't do that. As far as I can see there's no option to add an attachment, and certainly not an "Add all attachments from this Request" option. You could set a Human Task and assign a Service Manager User to email the group and attach the files to it - this can be done from the email option within the request, but there's not a Hornbill Automation to do this.
Dan Munns Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 @Steve Giller can I raise a request to be able to automate this please? Even if there is a human task to select the attachments to add to the email template it would be better than having to do this manually.
Steve Giller Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I've tagged this as an enhancement so the relevant teams will look into its feasibility.
Guest Paul Alexander Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 +1 for this option...although I can see that it MIGHT be a little cumbersome and would mean that there's a good chance of emailing lots of unrequired attachments to people?
