Keith
I don't think it is sufficient to limit the use of progressive capture to that contained in the settings. I can envisage us wanting different progressive captures (with custom forms) dependent on project type. It would seem to me that the project type should allow a progressive capture & BPM to be assigned. Regards Keith
Darren Rose
Absolutely, Keith. I'm sure this will come from what @alextumber has said. We definitely require more flexibility in the ProCap and BPM Darren
AlexTumber
Thanks for your post @Keith. For the beta release, we felt the easiest and most straight forward thing to do was to have a single progressive capture for all projects. I have no doubt that this will evolve and change and we may see functionality like that of the service catalog in service manager. For now though, you should be able to switch progressive captures in project manager by using a switch node. If you are using project type to make a decision, then maybe something like this would work for you: Alex
Keith
Thanks for the suggestion @alextumber that should work.
Lyonel
Bump on this topic. 1+ year later, we still have only 1 PC available to us. Are there plans to expand the system's capabilities? Custom forms and PC switching would be great!
AlexTumber
@Lyonel yes there are definitely plans to increase the system's capabilities and to offer multiple progressive captures and custom forms. This is one area of Project Manager that will be focused on once we introduce other features that have been prioritised. Alex
